Poor quality and a nasty chemical odour
No, I don't recommend this
I bought two and immediately returned one because the lid was chipped. The spoon did not fit properly either but the spoon from the other pot did so I swapped them. I'm now considering returning the second pot, as it has a nasty chemical smell - this is so after more than two weeks with the lid left open. I've no idea what the wood is coated in but it certainly doesn't smell natural eg like tung oil which one uses on chopping boards etc. I'm afraid to put salt of sugar (or any other item) in this pot because of the risk that the coating is toxic. Even if it is not, the content would become tainted. I shall be exploring this issue with M&S as I feel it is a serious one.

A wonder pot.
I spotted this on a social media video clip. Then came across it on M&S website. It's absolutely wonderful. The lid just rotates for easy access to the pot. It comes with its own tiny wooden spoon. I'm just loving this pot. I use sea salt and the salt doesn't clump together at all. Thanks M&S!

Wooden pot with spoon
Yes, I recommend this
Made of mango wood Magnetic sliding lid Small spoon that slots inside/underneath lid...ingenious idea. I use mine for rock salt for cooking Ideal for keeping on kitchen work surface as quite small so doesn't take up to much space.
