Nanna Angie Terrible Quality I bought two of these dresses for my granddaughter. The quality is shocking, the dresses crease terribly and shrink considerably after just one wash (I washed in 40 degrees, as instructed, and dried on a clothes horse). M&S's quality control is abysmal.

PRaj Creases badly Creases terribly and needs starch to keep them at bay. Has been washed a few times and it already looking a bit dull.

Lot22 Disappointingly shrunk significantly on first wash I purchased yesterday for start of school. Arrival was prompt and they looked great- no issues there. BUT they have significantly shrunk upon first wash which was at 20 degrees! I’m so disappointed and will have to return. Out of stock in most sizes now and no way to get another in time for start of school tomorrow. In 30 degrees heat, a winter uniform might just be a bit too much. The quality control really needs immediate attention on these dresses!

CD36 Avoid Looked lovely on the hanger and fit nicely before washing. After washing they've shrunk. They've come out of the wash creased and were a nightmare to iron. Even after ironing they still look creased. They've even creased more in the wardrobe.

KB123450 Look lovely but a nightmare to iron I love the look of these dresses, but ironing them is miserable. They take ages to iron and I can never get the pockets right (I think you'd need some sort of mini iron to ever get these looking right).

Disgruntled mummy Absolute pain to iron Dear me M&S - what have you made these out of? They are the worst ‘100% cotton’ dresses I have ever bought. They are a total pain in the posterior to iron. I’ve even tried ironing them straight from the washing machine as I have to put so much water spray on them to get any kind of crease out. If you dream of getting these straight from the tumble drier to hang up and be ready for school then forget it! You only have to breath on them and they crease up again so you can imagine what they look like after a car journey to school. My girls look like they’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards just putting them on!!!! Please have a rethink on whatever factory is supplying this fabric because I think they’re trying to shaft you as well as me. Avoid. 1 star is too good for them but you can’t leave zero.
