Whether you’re in the mood for something layered and loaded with flavour or prefer to keep it classic with a creamy tzatziki, we’ve rounded up the must-try dips this year. Introducing two new V.I.Ds (Very Important Dips) that are set to steal the spotlight on your summer sharing board.

A brand-new concept for M&S, our Flip ’n’ Dips come in two irresistible flavours – vibrant basil and sweet, smoky red pepper – both made with the creamiest cream cheese and finished with a flavour-packed dressing. Designed for maximum impact with minimal effort, simply lift the lid, flip the pack, and let the dip land perfectly ready to serve as a showstopping centrepiece. Surround with crisps, warm flatbreads and crunchy veg, and dig in – no double-dipping judgment here!

2. Topped and tasty

Say hello to two bold new topped dips, inspired by our philosophy that “we can turn anything into a dip”.

First up is our Topped Chicken Tikka Dip, built on a rich, spiced tikka base and generously topped with tender chicken, fresh coriander and punchy pickled onions – best served with Mango Chutney Mini Poppadoms. Alongside it is our Topped Mezze Dip, celebrating Mediterranean flavours with a caponata-style base of roasted aubergine, tomatoes and extra-virgin olive oil, finished with creamy labneh, Kalamata olives and a sprinkle of parsley – ideal served with Pitta Chips.

3. Bold burger flavour

This Fully Loaded Diner Dip brings all the familiar flavours of a cheeseburger into one irresistible scoop.

Built on a creamy ranch dressing and zesty tomato salsa, it’s finished with a generous topping of cheese and tangy gherkins. Serve with your go-to crisps or take things up a notch by adding a dollop to the top of your barbecued burger.

Our limited-edition New York Deli Dipper (in store from 22 April) – a smooth, soft cheese and tangy mustard base, topped with British beef pastrami, Swiss Emmentaler, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. For the flavours of your favourite Indian takeaway, try our Layered Indian Style Dip, featuring a Tandoori chickpea base with sweet mango chutney and coriander yogurt, topped with chickpeas and pickled red onion for added texture and tang.

We’re turning up the heat with our iconic hot melting dip range, bringing comfort food favourites into irresistibly gooey, dippable form.

Our Chicken Kyiv Hot Melting Dip combines creamy cheese and succulent chicken with a crunchy parsley and garlic herb crumb – everything you love about a classic chicken Kyiv, now baked until perfectly melty and ready to share. Serve with warm bread or use to top crispy jacket potatoes or chips for a tasty twist on loaded fries.

For a classic that pairs perfectly with crudités and a range of dishes like kebabs and gyros, try our Collection Thick Greek Yogurt Tzatziki – a creamy dip made with thick Greek yogurt, cooling cucumber, rich extra-virgin olive oil, fragrant dill and a hint of garlic. Our Green Goddess Dip is a creamy, vibrant dip made with mayonnaise, avocado, soured cream, parsley and dill, perfect paired with crunchy raw vegetables and breadsticks. Or try our new Edamame and Butterbean Crush – a fresh, modern twist inspired by guacamole, made with edamame and butterbeans, blended with olive oil and a hint of chilli for gentle heat. Slightly textured rather than smooth, it’s a lighter dip that’s full of flavour. If your go-to is guac, try making our twist on it with avocado, peas and feta, served with garlicky flatbreads for an extra punch of flavour.

Our Collection Extra Smooth Houmous is a velvety, moreish dip made with crushed, slow-cooked chickpeas, a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil and nutty tahini, finished with extra chickpeas on top for added texture.
