Brought as a present for my mother in law. She’s always been a size 14 but the dress is SO oversized - she said it was more like a generous 18…. Such a shame looked so pretty on the website. X sent it back - ordered one from Boden. Fitted her perfectly!

I have had my eye on this dress since it first appeared on the website. As soon as I saw it at the reduced sale price I bought it. The fabric is of a heavy weight, but this means that the dress hangs beautifully. It is very elegant and flattering and the long draping tie at the back makes it look very chic. I did not find the neck tight or the weight of the draping tie uncomfortable. My husband took one look at it when I tried it on & said it looked great. Praise indeed! I bought it with an Autumn Wedding in mind and the weight of the fabric and elegant style will be ideal for this. I will get a lot of wear out of it later for other events. Jaeger clothes used to wear well and not date (as they are often classics), so I hope that this dress will serve me well.

I bought for a wedding, sadly had to return just far to long.

Needed a posh frock for a wedding and this fitted the bill. Excellent quality as you would expect from Jaeger. Dress much admired.

Ordered this on line, was really pleased as it was in sale. Sadly when I tried on the length was down to my ankles and the sleeves dropped down over my hands. I am 5ft 4ins tall. Felt sad about this as the material was lovely. I did order two sizes.

I was so disappointed with this dress. The fit was awful and dragged on the floor! Please, please, please M & S get your sizing right.

I have bought this for a wedding at the end of September in Scotland so was looking for something that suited the temperature and wasn't too summery. Flattering cut and the tie at the back looks stylish - it's unlined by the material is quite heavy so it hangs well. I never would have considered buying Jaegar and probably wouldn't if hadn't have been in the sale.

The material, viscose, was extremely heavy. The high roll neck was tight and had a long tie flowing down the back of the dress. Because of the weight of the material it dragged the neck and made it feel even tighter. Also dry clean only - which I had missed on the advert.
