Fit matters

What to look for:

The underband should be horizontal across your back. It should be snug, but there should be enough room to fit two fingers underneath.

The wires at the centre front should sit flat at the breast bone between your breast, regardless of size.
The wires at the side should not dig into breast tissue , but flat on your chest wall.

Your breasts shoud be fully encased in each cup and no spilling at underarm or neckilne.

The bra straps should be adjusted to be secure but not tight. The bra should stay in place with the support actually coming form the underband .

  • The cups are wrinkling or gaping

Underband riding too high?

Go up a back size if:

Straps not right?

Loosen your bra straps if:

  • They are digging into your shoulders
  • They are causing the cups to dig into your breasts

Tighten your bra straps if:

  • They are slipping off your shoulders

If you have narrow shoulders:

  • Avoid balcony bras as these have wider set strap positions

What about the wires?

Go up a cup size if:

  • The wires are digging into your breast tissue
  • The wires are lifting away from your breastbone, you may need to also reduce the band size.

Go down a band size if:

  • The wires are slipping down your body, towards your waist
