Sparks is the Marks and Spencer plc (‘M&S’) reward scheme. It comprises a range of rewards, benefits, offers and giveaways ("Benefits") and is free to join.


  • About the draw
    Each week, one Sparks customer in each store (excluding BP Connect and Channel Island stores), and one sparks customer online, will be selected at random to receive that shopping transaction for free when they scan their Sparks card when checking out a Qualifying Transaction.

    New Store Opening Sparks Giveaways
    In addition to our weekly Sparks giveaway, when we open a new store, we increase the number of customers who can receive their shopping for free – from one per week per store, to one per day per store for the first week of opening.

    Every day for the first seven days from opening, in selected new M&S stores (excluding BP Connect and Channel Island stores), one Sparks customer will be selected at random to receive that shopping transaction for free when they scan their Sparks card when checking out a Qualifying Transaction.

    Non-essential space reopening
    In addition to our weekly Sparks giveaway, we are increasing the number of customers who can receive their shopping for free – from one per week per store, to one per day per store for fourteen days from non-essential retail space reopening in regions throughout the U.K. This will take place for stores in England and Wales from 12 April and for stores in Scotland from 26 April.

    Every day for fourteen days for stores in England and Wales from 12 April and for stores in Scotland from 26 April, in selected M&S stores (excluding BP Connect and Channel Island stores), one Sparks customer will be selected at random to receive that shopping transaction for free when they scan their Sparks card when checking out a Qualifying Transaction.

    For all free shopping giveaways, Recipients are randomly selected from Qualifying Transactions and notified that their shopping is free.

  • Each week, each Sparks customer who scans their Sparks card at checkout will be entered into a draw to receive £2,000 of M&S e-gift cards.

    There will be one lucky recipient each week. The draw will take place on Monday (other than in exceptional circumstances – for example due to public holidays or technical issues) and recipients will be notified within ten working days. We will provide the e-gift cards to the recipient within 10 working days of confirmation of the recipient’s eligibility and contact details for delivery. If we cannot get in contact with a recipient within 30 days of first notification then the recipient’s Benefit will be forfeited and we will redraw the recipient. If necessary, this process will continue until the e-gift cards are awarded. The awarding of the e-gift cards to a recipient is subject to confirmation of eligibility, and M&S reserves the right to refuse providing the e-gift cards if M&S reasonably considers the entry and/or recipient to be in breach of the Sparks terms and conditions. Discount card holders are not eligible for this Benefit. M&S’ decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.

  • Every time you use your Sparks card (or are logged into your account, if online) during a purchase, you will have a weekly chance to receive a little treat from M&S.

    The rewards are selected at random from the eligible Sparks customers and vary in number and type each week. They could be anything, for example Percy Pigs, a box of chocolates, candles from the apothecary range, or other rewards, all to thank you for being a loyal customer.

  • About the Promotion


    1. This promotion is being operated by Marks and Spencer plc, Waterside House, 35 North Wharf Road, London W2 1NW (“M&S”) in conjunction with Activate on Demand (AOD) Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with Company Registration Number 12186035 and with registered office at Christchurch Business Park, Radar Way, Christchurch, BH23 4FL ("AOD").


    2. M&S has collaborated with AOD to enable AOD to offer participating Sparks members a discount on Fitbit Inspire 2 and Fitbit Sense products and a free 6 or 12 months Premium Fitbit Wellness and Fitness subscription, details of which can be found here (the "Promotion").

    The Promotion

    5. The Promotion entitles Sparks members to save £25 off a Fitbit Inspire 2 with a free 1 year Fitbit Premium subscription or save £50 off a Fitbit Sense with a free 6 month Fitbit Premium subscription.

    6. This Promotion is open only to permanent UK residents who are aged 18 or over and are registered Sparks members.

    7. The Promotion will be available online only from 11th March 2021 until 22nd April 2021, subject to availability.

    8. To participate in the Promotion a customer must select the Promotion through the Sparks Promotion email and follow the links to the AOD website. The customer must then enter the unique code provided in the Sparks Promotion email to access the discounted Fitbit Inspire 2 and Fitbit Sense products.

    9. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

    10. All orders will be delivered free of charge on a tracked 1-3 working day delivery service.

    By entering the prize draw you agree to the below terms and conditions, to be bound by the decisions of M&S and to receive email notifications from M&S in relation to the prize draw.


    Entering the prize draw

    This prize promotion is open only to permanent UK residents who are aged 18 or over.
    Employees (or their relatives) of the Marks and Spencer Group of Companies (or any other company and/or agency connected with this promotion) are not permitted to enter.
    The prize draw is open only to direct recipients of the Facebook and/or Instagram advertisement inviting participants to enter into the prize draw.

    The prize draw starts on 8th April 2021 at 00:01 AM and ends on 30th April at 23:59 PM. Entries received outside of this time will not be considered.

    To receive an entry, eligible participants must complete the following 4 steps:

    1. Click on “Sign up” in the Facebook or Instagram advertisement and enter their details into the entry form;

    2. download the M&S App;

    3. register to join the M&S Sparks membership program; and

    4. activate at least one Sparks welcome offer (“£5 off when you spend £40 on food & flowers”, “10% off clothing, beauty and homeware) between 8 April and 30 April 2021.

    Upon completing all 4 steps required for entry, participants will receive an email using their Sparks account email address to notify them of their successful entry into the prize draw.

    Welcome offer must be activated before the offers expire (date of expiry will indicated when the M&S Sparks membership is activated) and no later than April 30th.

    You can activate the offer in your M&S app by opening the “Sparks” hub in the navigation bar, scrolling down to your “new offers” section and clicking on the green “+” icon per offer. The offer is now activated and will move to the “offers added” section. No purchase required.

    Only one entry per eligible participant. No entries on behalf of third parties will be accepted.


    Choosing the winner

    M&S will draw 20 winners at random on 7th May 2021 and the draw will be supervised by an independent person. The prize will be awarded to the first 20 correctly completed entries, drawn at random.

    M&S will notify the winners on the 10th May 2021 ("Notification Date") by email using their Sparks account email address. The notification will include details of how the prize can be accepted.

    If the winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize by 23:59 on 17th May, another random draw will take place from completed entries and another winner will be selected until all prizes have been allocated.


    The prize

    The winners will each receive one M&S eGift card with a value of £250.
    The gift card is non-transferable, non-refundable, subject to availability and there is no cash alternative. Normal M&S terms and conditions apply to the gift card and are available on the M&S website here.
    Each participant may only win one Prize. M&S Colleague discount will not apply to the Prize.


    General

    1. M&S’ decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.

    2. No responsibility will be taken for late, lost, indecipherable or misdirected entries or for any failure of communication resulting from incorrectly supplied information.

    6.     7. Provision of this prize is subject to the winner signing a prize acceptance form.

    The Promotion

    5. The Promotion entitles Sparks members to save 50% off on tickets normally priced £75 for selected performances of MAMMA MIA! at the Novello Theatre in London.

    6. The Promotion is only valid on Band A tickets priced at £75. This price includes any restoration levy and booking fee.

    7. The Promotion is valid for performances on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6th September to Thursday 27th January 2022 inclusive, excluding 22nd October – 29th October 2021 and 13th December 2021 – 3rd January 2022, strictly subject to availability.

    8. Tickets must be booked by 30th April 2021. A minimum of 2 tickets must be booked. A maximum of 6 tickets can be bought in a single transaction.

    9. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or on tickets already purchased.

    10. MAMMA MIA! is planned re-open at the Novello Theatre in London on the delayed date of 25 August 2021, subject to further Government guidance on easing restrictions. If performances have to be rescheduled you will be given the opportunity to exchange your tickets or request a refund from DMT.

    11. Any required travel to and from London and/or any additional expenses incurred are not included with this Promotion.


    Participating in the Promotion

    12. This Promotion is open only to permanent UK residents who are aged 18 or over and are registered Sparks members.

    13. The Promotion will be available online from 22ndFebruary 2021 and in selected stores from 11thMarch 2021 until 10thof April 2021, subject to availability.

    14. To participate in the Promotion a customer must purchase the MAMMA MIA! Bouquet online or in store. The customer must either scan their Sparks card at the till or be logged into their Sparks account during the purchase.

    15. After a successful purchase, the customer will receive an email from M&S containing a unique link to the MAMMA MIA! website. Once customers have entered their Sparks number on the MAMMA MIA! website, they can access a link to DMT's webpagewhere they will be able to purchase tickets for selected performances at a discounted rate.

    16. Only one email will be sent per purchase.

    17. By entering your Sparks number on the MAMMA MIA! website to access the Promotion, you consent to MAMMA MIA! sharing your Sparks number with M&S at the end of the Promotion.

    7. The Promotion will be available online only from 26th February 2021 until 31st March 2021, subject to availability.

    8. To participate in the Promotion a customer must select the Promotion through the Sparks Hub or Sparks Promotion email and follow the links to the Dennis website. The customer must then choose one of the three available Magazine titles and enter their Sparks number, name and address on the Dennis website. The chosen Magazine will then be delivered free of charge to the given address for a two week period.

    9. The Magazine is available on a first come, first served basis. There are a maximum of 10,000 redemptions per Magazine title, strictly subject to availability.

    10. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or by existing Dennis customers who are already subscribed to the Magazine. However, existing Dennis subscribers can redeem two free issues of the Magazine if they are not already a print subscriber to that Magazine. Please note that all promotions are subject to availability and may change without notice.

    11. No further subscription or purchase required to redeem the Promotion. There is only one Magazine redemption per household.

    12. Please allow up to fourteen days to receive the first copy of the Magazine.
