Amberley Dinner Plate

I bought 4 from store Quite heavy but big plates. Stack very well. Ordered 2 more online and they both arrived smashed.

Bought Amberley dinner service so that I could easily replace broken items when needed. However, have discovered that replacements are not a perfect match to the originals but only I would notice, so not perfect, but ok.

It was a pity that the side plates for the range were only available as part of a set as I wanted to purchase more

Very crackable, microwaved at to high a temperature it would seem.

Not impressed with the plates at the moment after we purchased a set last year everything was good then one evening placing food on a plate it cracked we should’ve taken it back but we didn’t. We purchased 3 more and after a couple of weeks another one cracked this time we took it back and it was replaced. Hopefully it just a coincidence keeping fingers crossed.

These have proven to be quite fragile but make great drainage in plant pots. Lose a star as they are expensive for gardening.

I was given six of these plates in May/June and three of them cracked and broke. As they were a gift I did not have a receipt to return them. I have now replaced them and hope that these will fare better as I really like them.
