Lovely shade… but HEAVY man….
Needed a new shade to replace my ancient paper 1960’s globe which was literally falling apart. Bought online and arrived within the week. Reviews said “easy fit “…. which is true as there are very few steps involved, HOWEVER, the weight of the shade you have to keep balanced on your arm whilst re wiring the fitment proves difficult to make it easy ! I got there after 4 attempts and am very pleased with the effect it has when on. Tip… you don’t want a bulb higher rated than 40 W …. anything higher is just too bright ( mines in the bedroom ). Recommended with slight reservation as to weight.
