I cooked the salmon according to the instructions and it turned out beautiful. I bought it for a housewarming party and the positive comments by the guests came thick and fast. I wouldn't hesitate in ordering another. Thank you M and S.

I think this product would have been excellent if it were filleted. I had to remove the bones which didn't improve the look when cooked and put on the buffet table. It was very rustic. A professional fish monger could easily fillet a whole salmon in 5/6 mins which would have been excellent. When spending £35 an extra couple of £'s for filleting would have been perfect.

This was even better than expected, but I would have preferred it not to be partly sliced -- much easier to cope with bones if left whole. However I am not really complaining - it was beautiful and huge.

This huge (2kg) salmon, formed part of a summer garden party lunch, and looked and tasted fab, everyone who ate it commented on how lovely it was. We only cooked part of it ,and froze the rest ,exactly as per instructions and it just fell off the bone. I was initially disappointed that I could not order the poached salmon but this was an excellent alternative - well recommended.

Excellent product and we are very pleased with the outcome. Everyone loves it. Surely we will order it again and recommend to others.

This is amazing value, a whole salmon that would not fit on my largest baking tray (had to cut off the end and freeze it). The salmon was lovely, fell off the bone and looked fab on the plate when garnished. Would certainly recommend.

Delightful fish; excellent flavour and quality

Salmon was wonderful. cooked easily in tinfoil in the oven. Dressed it with cucumber scales - very impressive. Had loads left over for the freezer, froze perfectly well. Think next time i would remove the bones before I served it though as some people were put off by that.

This salmon was delicious. Ready prepared I just stuffed it with lemon and bay leaves poured over white wine and it was succulent and fresh with no smell. Wrapped it in parchment paper/foil and cooked as per instructions. Highly recommended and no work to do except i cut off the tail to fit in the tray.

Bought the salmon for a meal over Christmas. Thought it might not be large enough for 7 generous adult portions. In fact it would have served 8 persons very easily with some left over for seconds. I usually buy skinless/boneless fillets - this made an attractive alternative. Would certainly buy again. I do not recall the salmon coming with a plate of any sort.

A lovely hige piece of fish with no preparation. Would buy for a party any time.

Ist class quality which was easy to cook and provided generous portions. NOTE: Since the fish is uncooked it comes vacuum packed and without a "table presentable platter"
