These shoes are light, comfortable and cool. The shoe has an inner liner and laces to the outer. I was looking for a plain black pair of comfortable shoes and tried another pair before going for these. Guidance was to size up, I sized up half a size and find these are roomy around the toes. I have an old pair of Stella ultraboost and they are super comfy, these ones are quite comfortable. I feel they are a bit pricey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly use it for walking around 6km daily to work. I went up half a size and it is a perfect fit. I am slightly wide footed and it fits great. It feels very light and well cushioned. Very comfortable especially at the toe area as most of the shoe is made of a stretchable breathable fabric. There are hard bits behind the heel only. Only thing is it digs a bit into the lower part of my lateral malleolus (knobbly bone that sticks out of ankle on outer sides of foot). But it is quite a minor discomfort which I am hoping goes away otherwise a perfect shoe!

I’ve been running in the Ultraboost lights for ages now, a fantastic shoe, really narrow for my small feet, and minimal blisters. So I ordered the new ultraboost 5 and couldn’t be more disappointed. I ordered my usual size, 6, and they are huge and really wide. My feet slip and slide around and I had a huge blister after just 6km. If like me you have narrow feet, then these will not suit you if you prefer a snug fit.

I love ultra boost - I have had issues with overpronation and hyper flexibility when running - so super spongy soles are not good for me. Ultraboost provide stability and comfort when I’m half marathon and marathon training. I use them on the road and the new version (5) feel lighter and slightly more responsive than my previous Ultraboosts. I wear a UK size 5 (I’m usually a 4.5 in adidas fashion trainers) and they’re perfect. I love how they are ‘sock fitting’ as in there is no tongue as such so the fit is really good all over the top of your foot. Would have loved more colour choices but know they’ll be more available when I’ve done my mileage in these… I’ll be buying another pair for sure!
