We're very pleased with the whole bedroom set - wardrobe, dressing table and two bedside tables. The people who delivered them were really good. They built the wardrobe but first they had to get the whole lot upstairs [in a cottage!] They were very strong and very patient. The furniture is well-built. It has soft close doors and drawers and gives us a lot of storage space. M&S did cancel the first delivery date which was a pain because we had other things depending on it, but I guess it's understandable in all the circumstances. All in all, we think it was an excellent choice

Flat pack, delivery team assemble the furniture. Whilst it isn’t as solid as original sonoma furniture items ( I have the bed, drawers and bureaux) it looks good and gives good storage.

We bought both the triple and double robes together. The fitters fitted the pair of doors on the triple incorrectly so that the magnetic catches didnt line up. The fix involved removing the doors, swopping the hinges and re-fitting. it wasnt until later that I realised that two doors had damaged edges, probably due to the speed that the fitter worked. M & S were very good and agreed to replace the doors and possibly the whole wardrobe if the doors were a bad match. Enter Coronavirus causing a long delay but the doors were replaced. I just need to level the robes properly now.

We already had Sonoma furniture and were delighted with the quality. However, we are somewhat disappointed with the recently purchased triple wardrobe. We were aware that, due to Covid restrictions, we would have to assemble the unit ourselves. However, the assembly instructions could have been much clearer and the build quality of the unit was not to the expected standard. Specifically: The top panel was ill fitting and had to be planed to fit. Door fitting proved very difficult and we had to hire a professional joiner to complete the job. His observation was that there was insufficient adjustment on the hinges and that the overall quality of the product was poor. There is a missing support bracket for the hanging rail in the single wardrobe side. We would be interested to hear M & S comments on the above.

The delivery/ assembly men who represented M&S where excellent, they wore overshoes so as to not dirty carpet, worked really quickly in assembling wardrobe. The wardrobe itself is excellent in quality, there is more space then 1st thought which is a plus, there unfortunately was one peg short for holding a shelf in place, but was resolved very quickly by delivery men and customer services, peg now received and last shelf in place. Excellent service throughout only took a week for delivery of wardrobe and receiving extra peg so really pleased. Also saved a lot of money as had 20% discount time of purchase.

Bought this over 12 months ago and decided to do another bedroom in it. Looks good, well made and timeless. Love the range,

We have just taken delivery of the Sonoma triple wardrobe and for the price we are very pleased with it. We had not been able to see the triple wardrobe in our local branch and reading previous reviews after our purchase we agree with one that the overlap bar on the double door is unnecessary and inconvenient. Other than this it is as described. We have owned a Sonoma bed and chest of drawers for some years, so when we realised that we could still get matching wardrobes we were very pleased and they are truly matching which is surprising after so long. One reviewer comments on poor quality materials and that it is flimsy. We strongly disagree. The use of veneers is limited to places where thin solid oak would be likely to warp and split. The solid oak frame is as sturdy as our Mouseman oak dining table. The delivery and assembly went very smoothly. I had only recently decorated our hall and stairs, but I had no reason to worry as they took great care to protect our flooring and did no damage to our decor. The drawer base came ready assembled and it took the two man team about an hour to assemble the wardrobe. When we were asked to check before they left it was not in the correct position, but moved it without complaint. As the team were leaving they said that if we experienced any problem at all we needed to do is contact them to get it sorted. I must admit the final move had caused a slight movement in the doors, but the hinges are designed to allow all normal adjustments as standard on almost all modern kitchen and bedroom furniture. We are so pleased that we have now ordered additional Sonoma wardrobes for another room.

Ordered a few items in the Sonoma range as well as the triple wardrobe. Absolutely delighted with the sideboard, 2+3 compact chest of drawers and storage box. The intention was to have both the triple and double wardrobes side by side so ordered the triple first. Instantly noticed the main compartment doors were not aligned and protruded at the top but under closer inspection I was very disappointed with the overall finish and quality that it had to be returned. Although I did mot expect the back panel to be of solid oak I was shocked to discover it was thin cheap looking chipboard that was not even in one piece that had a vertical strip of a lighter coloured piece of chipboard down the middle that looked awful and not even obscured with a full wardrobe of clothes. (I checked on the M&S website and the image very cleverly is taken at an angle so even if you zoom in on the interior photo this strip cannot be seen) Really annoyed that the right hand side door has a lip on the outer edge that is really not necessary and means this door cannot be opened independently which also adds to the amount of excessive visible screws which is such a shame that should for the price come with screw covers. I have recently had a bespoke kitchen installed and the modern door hinges now come with vertical screw brackets to eliminate visible screws as well as to achieve a far more streamlined look. As much as I really rate the Sonoma range the wardrobe is unfortunately not up to scratch. Freestanding wardrobes are very difficult piece of furniture to get right that are in constant use so the finer details are so important. A lot more thought needs to be given to the all important finish. As M&S claim that it has an intelligent use of space and maximum storage is not strictly true as the hanging rails cannot be adjusted and the smaller hanging compartment is not wide enough to either hang a number of garments or the shelves could not accommodate folded clothes correctly in any significant quantity. Although this wardrobe was not for me at all it has certainly not put me off other pieces of furniture I have my eye on in the Sonoma range. Finally M&S were brilliant by making the unfortunate situation so much easier to rectify by taking on board my issues and arranging a prompt collection. Thank you

After having my old set of furniture for over 30 years it was time for a change, I searched for months, and I always came back to this range I am so pleased I went ahead and purchased the whole set, it's well made, plenty of storage, looks great, I am delighted, delivery time suited me, delivery men polite clean and tidy

It fits perfectly in the space - perfect width and depth and looks amazing however, I stayed to watch the delivery people put it together and the younger man was in a huge rush to get it built. There was a fault in the base and it split even more when the panels were screwed on. M & S claim it is Oak, Oak Veneer and hardwood, but much of it is veneered MDF hence the splitting. It is a shame it is made of such poor quality material as it has the potential with the claimed Oak content to be a beautiful wardrobe.

excellent quality solid furniture looks lovely

I purchased 4 items from this range including a triple wardrobe, chest of drawers, chest & mirror. I am more than happy with my purchases. The furniture is solid, good looking & spacious, and the mirror is large enough to make an impact. The photos & descriptions online are as described. My bedroom looks lovely! I have to congratulate M&S on the whole shopping experience. The order arrived within 5 days, I was kept informed of delivery times throughout & each item was unpacked, assembled & in place in no more than 1 hour. All packaging was then taken away by the deliverymen. First class furniture & customer service!
