Sonoma Wide Drawer Chest
Very poor quality, not a patch on the same furniture we had years ago. The drawer runners broke whilst assembling because they are made of MDF and are flimsy at best. We are still waiting for it to be collected despite advising M&S on 13 December. We have been passed off onto their courier people who have failed to the collect the item when they specified, they are just as bad. So still waiting for our refund of over £500 - would not recommend this item or our experience at all. Expected better from M&S, paying more does not guarantee you quality or a better customer experience it would seem

Sonoma chest wide 4 drawer
It is very heavy to move. Once in place it stays there! Removing packaging to take drawers out may have reduced the weight but delivery crew said they were not expected to do this. They had tremendous trouble getting it up the stairs. The ample protective packaging was very difficult for me to remove and then I had to dispose of it. On a personal note I found the drawers shallow and I would have preferred three drawers but deeper. However it looks great in situ and is a very good quality piece of furniture.

Beautifully crafted. Excellent quality and lovely, soft close drawers. Be aware though, it is HEAVY so get the delivery people to unpack and place it where you want it to live! Looks perfect with our Sonoma bed and Sonoma dressing table which we bought 9 years ago.

This is a very well made solid piece of furniture. Bigger than expected but delighted with this item. Very heavy to move, as seen by the delivery men trying to bring it upstairs to the bedroom! Drawers good size for plenty storage and soft close drawers. Thinking of ordering another for a different bedroom.

We bought this to match some existing Sonoma furniture that we bought a few years ago. The quality of the workmanship does not begin to compare. Inferior construction of drawers - no dove tail joints and very flimsy bases to the drawers. Rear of chest is very flimsy too. M&S have certainly let their standards fall significantly. The furniture might appear to be the same but it is constructed so much more cheaply. Very disappointed.
