These trousers are a lovely quality and well cut. Initially I ordered my usual size 16, as I have several Jaeger trousers from years ago in size 16 that fit perfectly. This time, I could not zip this up (still size 16). I had to return them, but I liked the trousers, so I sized up. Size 18 is a bit loose, but I am happier with it. These will last for years.

I bought 2 sizes presuming one if them would fit as the crepe is good quality. Unfortunately and somewhat strangely the size 14 was very loose over my hips and thighs and only a little loose on the waist; but the size 12 was way smaller so I couldn’t risk pulling the zip up as it would have pinched my skin. Very disappointed as they were for me to wear at any occasion where I had to be a little smarter than corduroy/moleskin trousers.

Lovely trousers, good, classic cut, nice wool crepe fabric. Flattering flat front and side pockets lay neatly. I am a UK10 and found the 10 true to size. I am 5f5 tall and the trouser length is perfect, just covering my ankles, so these trousers are perfect with both heels or loafers. Really pleased.
