Rather a neat fit
No, I don't recommend this
I really like the style of this coat but the fit was too small for a Winter coat. It fits well over a blouse but there is not much room for a jumper. I really didn't like the fabric at all. It felt very synthetic despite the proportion of natural fibres stated on the label.

Very small for sizing compared to older M&S coats
Yes, I recommend this
I have an older green wool coat from M&S size 22 that fits very well. I thought I would order a 24 as I wanted to get big jumpers under this military coat. Well, after a lot of back and forth, I settled on a 28 to get the look I wanted!! I have never owned anything in size 28 before and I know for a fact that I haven't gained weight. So something bizarre has happened wrt sizing or styling here...
