I ordered this cake for a double birthday celebration, about a weeks notice was given as I wanted a message put on the cake , it was perfect and tasted delicious and I must say I was much bigger then I expected, it was easily enough for 16 people, will absolutely order cakes from M & S again.

Cake was nice but not worth anywhere near £50, when I saw this cake online maybe a month before ordering it when I was deciding where to buy the cake, at that time the photo showed a rectangle, I didn’t really look at it again when I ordered it but the website had been upgraded and cake now a square. I didn’t realise this so was shocked when I saw the size of it. I spoke to the person who had brought the cake to me and he gave me number for customer services. They were no help at all, also told me I couldn’t return it. I wish I had just refused to take the cake.
