Great until the dye ran out while handwashing
No, I don't recommend this
LOVE these trousers, even though a little on the large side. I have washed them a few times, always on a quick, 40 degree programme with non-bio detergent. I had noticed a slight colour fade, but during a quick handwash yesterday was horrified by the amount of dye in the water. After being a supplier of garments to M&S for 10 years I am staggered, because I know exactly how rigid the in-house tests are (used to be)? I would like to buy more of this style, but am now a little reticent. What's going on? I don't live anywhere near an M&S shop so have to rely on online sales (which is obviously not possible at the moment).

These lightweight cargo trousers are great, but they come up a good side too big, so you probably need to size down. I have the blue and calico colours and they are lovely! The fabric is soft and lightweight, perfect for hot weather. Well done M&S.......

Inconsistent sizing across M&S clothes
I had to return these. Sadly M&S sizing is all over the place, even sometimes within the same style. These were too big and too long even though I ordered short (5.5 and I wear flats). I liked the style and material. I do click and collect from a local foodhall so at least I didn't have to pay postage but it would be so much easier ordering online if they could be consistent with sizing.
