Harry Potted Advent Calendar is a must have item!

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. It is a cute Advent calendar. My daughters are 14 and almost 10 and they take turns each day opening a window. The cardboard window that gets opened has the instruction picture in it. Each build had been fairly easy. I only have two critiques…the size of the people in proportion to the other objects is off and the only instructions are the flaps so if the builds get taken apart, there isn’t a way to know how to rebuild it unless you tear off the flaps and keep all 24. This is an Advent calendar that I would recommend for any Harry Potter fan.

I would say eighty percent worth it

Good but should have been better.

This year the Harry Potter calendar could have been said as one of the better calendars Lego released compared to Star Wars and city which you can read from my other reviews. The minigures are great but they lack difference, instead of putting two minifigures in the exact same shirt and pants, they could have just got one each and made some of the professors and villains in. Also the items are beautiful and fits the theme very well but I think an improvement could be made by putting all the items as the same scale since some were a bit larger in scale than others. Finally I think the board/scene is the main reason that it didn't deserve a 5, the background is very good and very classic but the board is very plain compared to the previous years, if even they added some structures like camp fires or trees that would be way better, but still I think the best board was the one in previous Harry Potter calendars where you havce different romes and scenes in one board, compared to that, this just seems to average.

One of the Best Calendars Ever!

Originally posted on LEGO

Yes, I recommend this

This calendar is one of the best Lego Calendars ever!! And we have built City, Star Wars, Marvel, and Harry Potter ones over the years. Each item is so fun, and my son loves that each can stand alone, without building a building. They are each so unique to the Harry Potter stories which makes them very special. The details on each are so fun to discover. Thank you Lego!

All Lego people

Don’t waste your money. 8/24 builds are for the LEGO people characters only and nothing additional to build. Not fun to build. My kid was very disappointed. The box shows 4 characters not the 8 that are actually in the box.

Harry Potter Magical Christmas

Originally posted on LEGO

Overall very pleased with the Advent Calendar, I bought my first Harry Potter Lego Advent Calendar last year, and was really pleased with it after ditching the Star Wars ones, as they got really repetitive. I am currently on day 16, sadly realised the minifigs in X-mass jumpers will be a thing by the time I revealed the second Griffindor one, but I was not expecting the same minifig on two doors. The Ravenclaw girl, even showed on the door with blonde hair(it is sadly the exactly figure as a few doors back). The rest of the calendar so far was really cute and I found some nice surprises.

Kids love it

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 is an absolute highlight of our December and easily one of the best advent calendars we’ve ever bought. Opening a new door each day became a genuine event, and it never once felt repetitive or disappointing. The mini builds are incredibly well thought out. Each one is detailed, creative, and clearly inspired by iconic moments from the Harry Potter films. The minifigures are fantastic additions too, with great prints and accessories that fit perfectly into our existing LEGO Harry Potter collection. Even the smaller builds feel meaningful and fun to put together, not just filler pieces. What really impressed me was the balance between play and display. Some days delivered charming little scenes, while others added characters or props that brought everything together. By the end of the countdown, the full set felt cohesive and magical, not just a random assortment of parts. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from LEGO—solid, satisfying, and perfect for both kids and adults. As a longtime Harry Potter fan, this calendar captured the cozy, festive Hogwarts atmosphere beautifully and made every morning in December something to look forward to.

Sizes are all off and it bugs me

Originally posted on LEGO

We're about 8 days into the calendar and I'm really disappointed so far because of the mad variation in sizes of the builds. Last year we got the Lego Friends calendar and everything worked together and made a lovely scene, whereas this year Harry is overshadowed by Hedwig twice his size, and a sorting hat for a giant. I don't know what we're supposed to do with them once they're built as they definitely don't form a coherent scene. So disappointed.

Only 8 days into this but not impressed with the models so far, and the instructions on the box are not clear. However it will get better I am sure and makes a conversation point with visitors.

This is my first time doing a LEGO advent calendar, and I absolutely love it. Great value for your money and excellent Christmas countdown for Harry Potter fans. I love waking up each morning to a new mini Lego build and being able to add each one to my collection. Highly recommend for all Lego fans.

Got boring quickly

Originally posted on influenster.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to this Harry Potter Advent Calendar, the box art and promise of 24 magical surprises had me hyped for a festive buildup to Christmas. And yes, it delivers some fun, the characters in Christmas jumpers, a handful of magical creatures. But once the novelty wore off, I couldn’t shake the feeling that many of the mini-builds are so small they barely feel like “builds.” Overall, it’s a nice little treat for fans wanting a bit of holiday spirit, but it’s not the spectacular Hogwarts event I’d imagined.
