Glycerin GTS 23 Running Trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been running for over 30 years and have always worn glycerins after they were choosen the best shoe for me at a running store. I have never had any running injuries and at 71 yo, I still run 5 miles 5-6 days a week. Not as fast as I used to be and still wearing Glycerin. I like the more cushion as I get older :) I do get the wide shoe as I do not have a narrow foot, but do not get wide normally in regular shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long-time fan of Brooks stability shoes since they typically feel great and have a range of size and color options. However, the extra material on the ankles of this design creates the perfect scoop to hold in even tiny amounts of dirt and small rocks. My typical walking/running trail is well-maintained asphalt, yet any spec of dirt gets caught in this ankle and creates a dirty ring inside the heel and along my white socks. Aside from that major annoyance, the shoes themselves don't feel as cushioned as I would've liked. Also, I typically wear a 9.5 W in Brooks, but these feel slightly shorter in length than my previous pair of Adrenaline GTS 23. Overall, I wouldn't purchase these again unless I were to wear them solely on an indoor treadmill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best shoes I have ever owned! The toe box is wide, the fit was comfortable right out of the box! I am not a runner, but these shoes are great for my walks, everyday needs and perform well during cardio drumming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My doctor at Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC said I needed better shoes for my back and suggest Hoka. But I found that these Brooks are both supportive and comfortable the way Hoka was not. I can walk miles in my Glycerin GTS 23 and now purchased a 2nd pair. Think my doctor will be happy when I see him and put them on his recommended list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these overall. Great stability for runs and the shock absorption is 10/10 on concrete. I have been running in the Glycerin GTS 22’s for the past year and the 23’s have some notable differences. The 23’s have a “shelf” that propels you forward that took some getting used to. It also isn’t compatible with the Brooks ghost no show socks (the shelf hits right at the arch support of the socks and doesn’t feel great). The laces are difficult to double knot compared with the 22’s. But overall I like them: they are lightweight and the color is fun too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have moderate bilateral bunions and need a wide toe box base. I walk 2 miles daily, and had been wearing Addiction walkers. They started to feel a bit snug, so my local shoe store suggested this shoe. Wow! It has more cushioning and heel support, along with the wide toe box. I have custom inserts, which fit well. The only tiny nitpick is that they get dirty quickly (but clean up easily). I bought another pair in a darker color, and the light ones will be for gym, running errands. Really love these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer my regular Glycerin 22 and wish I had ordered the Glycerin 23. The regular Glycerin is more comfortable and offers more support for me.

My Glycerin GTS 22 are much more comfortable than this Glycerin GTS 23. This pair of shoes is so expensive and equally as uncomfortable. Of course I bought them at Gazelle where I won't be able to get a refund. So frustrated! Please make this style more comfortable in the future.
