[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had expected more cushioning and these felt hard, and hurt my feet actually…. Going to be looking for more cushion! I’m a 135lb, 5’9 female but I like comfy and plush running shoes that seem springy- I had high hopes for these but just not my jam. Cute color though.

Love my Glycerin 23 GTS

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a Saucony fan for the longest time but after multiple injuries and glute issues I realized that I needed something that was going to offer more stability than I was finding with my Saucony. The Glycerin 23 GTS gives me everything I need in a stability shoe.

No good for me, foot pain increased

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

These are very stylish, I have to say that. I get a lot of compliments on them at work. But I bought them to relieve my extreme foot pain from hospital rounds every day. Not only did it not help, it almost made it worse on my heels. For me, these were a waste of money, a very painful one. But it seems like I was in the minority. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Glycerin 23 nice look but run short

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing Brooks for 5 yrs now & am comfortable providing reviews. The Glycerin style has been my go to brisk road walking/running bc of the toe band width, rounded shape, weight & cushion. However, these shoes run “short” as also reported by other runners. I purchased 2 pairs, at different times hoping that it was mfg issues. With Brooks, I always size up one. However, these did not fit properly causing blisters on the tops & sides of my toes. They also rubbed on the inner heel causing a callus. They did provide a cushion that was not to soft or “pillow like”. I also like the heel tab & longer shoelaces for ease. This was my experience & may fit differently on others

Perfect shoe

These are the only shoes for 12 hour shifts

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are the only kind I will wear to work for my 12 hour shifts. Just the perfect amount of cushion and support. They also have a good size toe box so you don’t feel like your toes are smashed together. Great shoes!!! I only wish they would come out with more pink shoes - they sell out the quickly but still they refuse to make more pink shoes!!!!!

Evil Little Shoe

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

The worst pair of Brooks I’ve ever owned. Gave me painful blisters on my inner heels on both shoes with their new padding design after walking in these for two days. The new design has a 8mm heel drop that gave me plantar fasciitis. And the left toe kept caving in as I walked. Absolutely horrible shoe… I’ve worn Brooks Glycerin GTS for years and now I don’t know what I’ll wear.

Run small compared to Glycerin GTS 20

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always wearing a size 6 in GylcerinGTS 20 and wear custom made orthotics. The size 6 in Gylcerin GTS 23 really hurt my feet and my toes felt cramped. I even trimmed down my orthotics to no improvement. Luckily my shoe store let me return for a 6.5. I’m not sure if the toe box is narrower or the changed heel cushion affected my fit with my orthotics. The size 6.5 is much better. It was frustrating because the same model shoe should be consistent in sizing. My foot measures a 5.5. If you wear orthotics my suggestion is to size up. Otherwise I have always loved these shoes. I’m a nurse and am on my feet 12+ hours a day.

Pretty but very disappointing

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

I love the 22s, but the 23s are awful. The toe box is collapsing on both big toes whether sitting, standing, or walking. Brooks said this is a “known but rare” problem. In 15 years of Brooks I’ve never had a shoe so awful. And the tongue is enormous and ride so far up. Bought from running store and waited too long to return. Have been worn about 10 miles tops and are trash. Too uncomfortable to even wear to go shopping.

Good shoe, not for me

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought these shoes after taking the Brooks Shoe Finder quiz to replace my Hyperion 2's which I love. This shoe was the number one recommended choice. However, if you're used to running in something light like a Hyperion or Launch model, this shoe is NOT the same. It's much heavier and bulkier. I think it's a good shoe with nice cushioning, and it was great to walk in. It was just not for me.

Finally Walking Again — and Even Started Running!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes truly changed my life. For a long time, I struggled with pain in my feet and knees, and it seriously limited my ability to walk and enjoy long walks. I honestly never thought I would be able to run again because of my knee pain. Since getting the Brooks Glycerin GTS 23, I can finally walk comfortably again — and I even started running! Right now I can only run for a few minutes at a time, but at 60 years old, this feels like a huge achievement for me, and I truly believe it’s thanks to these shoes. They provide amazing cushioning and support without feeling stiff or heavy. I am extremely happy with this purchase. One important sizing note for anyone considering them: I ended up buying half a size bigger than my usual size. I normally wear an 8.5 (sometimes even an 8), and while the 8.5 technically fit, they didn’t feel quite roomy enough. When I tried the 9, they felt incredibly comfortable. For me personally, it’s much better to have them slightly roomy rather than not roomy enough.

Ultimate comfort with perfect, non intrusive support!

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely loving the Glycerin GTS 23. The nitrogen infused cushioning feels incredibly plush underfoot, absorbing a ton of impact on hard pavement without ever feeling mushy. What really sets it apart is the GTS GuideRails support it keeps my stride aligned perfectly when my feet get tired, but it’s so smooth you don't even notice it's there. The upper is premium and soft with zero hot spots. An incredible daily trainer!

Love my Brooks

Originally posted on brooksrunning.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks in general are my favorite running shoe brand. I’m in love with my Glycerine GTS 23, the give me the extra support that my knees need and are very comfortable. I will definitely be buying another pair or 2 so I can match more of my running outfit with them.
