Practical, comfortable and stylish solution to overpronation

It's super comfortable and stylish for dog sports trials. I recieve so many compliments at dog sports competitions and always recommend them to my fellow comrades.

    Love them…

On one pair, the laces on the right shoe are two inches longer than the left shoe 😥. They’ve been excellent to run in though - both on the treadmill and outdoors. Just wish the shoes didn’t change so much between versions - the trial and error and return shipping is a drag. So, keep these amazing for v26, please!

    Not for me

I used to love the glycerin so I figured I’d like the gts. These were “eh”. I don’t find myself reaching to put them on like I do other brooks. The color way is very cute. True to size fit.

    What A Relief - SERIOUSLY

My daughter introduced me to GTS23 and what a difference. Purchased my second pair 3 weeks ago as I sent all my other sneakers and shoes to Goodwill. I can’t tell you how much better I feel. Now I have no worries about going to a concert in August that I have been waiting years for and all the mental anguish regarding my ability to stand/walk during the event. Looking to purchase yet another pair soon. Oh, just one suggestion - more colors please. My GTS23’s are my new shoe fetish!

    Too many changes at once

The updates to the Glycerin 23 GTS are significant, and unfortunately they haven’t all been positive for me. The biggest issue is the heel. I never had pain in the back of my right heel until I started wearing these shoes. I suspect the extra padding around the heel collar, which helps lock your foot in place, is pressing against my Achilles tendon. It has irritated it enough that I developed a heel spur. Oddly, my left foot has no issues at all, only my right. That said, there are plenty of things I love. The cushioning is fantastic… you can’t give me too much cushion! The pull tab on the heel makes the shoes incredibly easy to slip on and off without untying them, and the longer laces are a welcome improvement. I bought the pink, white, and black colorway, and it’s absolutely beautiful. My other complaint is that Brooks made the toe box noticeably narrower. I now have a blister on my pinky toe and have developed a callus because my toes feel cramped. Four years ago I wore a size 7½, then moved to an 8, and now I’m realizing I’ll probably need an 8½. Overall, I still love the Glycerin line for its incredible cushioning, but I hope Brooks finds a better balance between improving the shoe and completely changing what longtime fans already love. Because I was still wearing some of my other Brooke shoes I didn’t start to wear these until four months later. So I’ve already passed the window to return so now I’m donating them to a charity and they have a lot of miles left on them.

    Tighter feel irritates my tendons

While the soul is great as usual, the tie box feels smaller and like it offers less room in the top, making the shoe feel tighter despite my skipping all but the top two lace eyelets. This shoe has irritated my rxtensor tendons, causing me to dtop my power walking so as to prevent mire serious issues. I hate this because I live the color and style. I hope Brooks will make this shoe roomier next year. For thise eho want tighter fits, there is always the Glycerin Stealth.

These shoes are perfect for running with prior injuries.

They absorb enough shock from running so that my knee is not hurting afterward. I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin GTS 23 to anyone looking for a comfortable running shoe for long runs or injuries.
