Very good quality. Lots of room on the waist which can be taken in with elastic banding inside.

I’m really disappointed with this skirt! They’ve changed the elastic waistband to a zip that gets stuck and the waste is small. I feel for my daughter because this isn’t good for her self esteem on her first day back at school. Now I have to pay extra to get it amended. I won’t be buying this skirt again and I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I had no problem with 10-11 and this purchase was the 11-12.

We have always had to go one size up for our daughter with M&S pinafore. This year she is 10 years old and was too tall for the 11-12year pinafore so we changed to a skirt. All sizes up until 14-15 years did not fit her waist, at that I had to get the hem of the 14-15 years taken up. My daughter is not an overweight child, she has a very healthy diet and does a lot of sport. Having to wear a size 14-15years at the age of 10 is giving girls a very negative message about their body image. I’m really not happy with this product.

Seems to fit ok, but would prefer elastic wait band. Good quality and hopefully will last the winter.

Disappointed the waist isn’t elasticated. Had to go up 3 age sizes just to get one that fits, it was meant to be a plus size fit. However it does wash and iron very well.

Great quality skirts but unfortunately, they do differ from the image shown. No elasticated waist on the age11-12, just a fiddly side zip and button, so have returned.

I am very disappointed! While the skirt is bigger in the waist, it is unfortunatelyalso significantly longer!! As such it is completely unsuitable for an average child of this age to wear!! Essentially it is just a larger size perhaps a regular 9-10 age skirt re-abled as a plus fit. I bought the plus fit as for some reason the skirts I purchased from you last year age 5-6 are now the same size in the waist as the 8-9 year old skirts and therefore again too long. I took the skirts into and measured it against a number of the different styles you carry including the exact same style as before but found they all had this issue. I am very unwell and it is very difficult to return them so I have will now have to keep them and hope that they fit in 2 to 4 years time.
