I wish there was just a bit more support across the front top, other than that, it's a very comfortable gym shoe. Brooks is all I wear

Heal Slippage
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
So I have Hallux Rigidus and have been wearing this with the power step extension - which has helped with the big toe and forefoot pain - my issue lies in the heal slippage which has left me with constant blisters on the back/top of my heal; and yes I have tried different ways to tie, socks, etc. Such a shame bc I want to love them and I have not used them enough to justify the cost, especially bc I don’t want to use them in fear of more blisters.

I like the maximum cushioning for the treatment of metatarsalgia. I also like the fact that the insoles can be removed and replace with prescription insoles with a metatarsal pad. (Some other shoe manufactures glue their insole to their shoes.) I’m 68 years old and still walking 5 mile a day.

These are very comfortable. I had ordered a pair in medium width and they were too snug. This pair was ordered 2e wide and they are perfect

Overall, very happy with my shoe.

One of the most comfortable shoes I've tried. It feels very "stable" which is a little hard to describe, but it's like my foot feels like it's supported evenly everywhere. One exception was there was a small dip in the sole at the ball of my foot that caused some discomfort. I tried a shoe insert and it seems to have alleviated the problem.

Very comfortable and took care of his foot pain from being on his feet all day at work.

The shoe is always wet after every run from sweat. It dries very poorly. Multiple days later the shoe was still wet. It took over a week to dry after running in the rain. The shoe started to smell immediately due to it never drying. Cushy but very heavy. Not great for long runs greater than 13 miles due to how heavy they are.

After 30 miles , the midsole started to separate on one side. Brooks, seriously?

Overall comfy while walking around. I’m a big guy at 6’1” and 260lbs. However, I’m getting hotspots on the bottom, trying to avoid blisters by trying different socks and different tightness on the laces. Very unfortunate

Major durability issues. Returned after a week
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
Major durability issues. I returned these after a week as they already had lots of wear issues (mainly with the fabric that seemed delicate) and already showed early signs of rips / frays / holes. Terrible ROI / value for this pricepoint. Do not recommend. On the positives: they were super comfortable and I really liked the fit. I could not get past the durability concerns.

Brooks has achieved perfection with the Ghost Max 3 !!!

I have waited 4 years to find a Brooks running shoe that has exceptional cushioning and support and only a very gentle rocker. I was still wearing the 2021 Adrenaline GTS running shoes in 2025. However, the new Brooks Ghost Max 3 is perfect for me with its roomy toe box, gusseted tongue, exceptional cushioning and support with only very gentle rocker. I couldn't be happier. That's why I bought 3 pairs. Thanks so much, Ken Nunn

Ghost Max Lover

I had the OG Ghost Max and loved them very much and these new ones feel just as good so far and I am expecting the same from them as the OG ones. I use them for work because I am a health care professional spending a good portion of my day on my feet and these Ghost Max 3’s are definitely delivering max comfort and support throughout my day.

What can I say... Amazing!

Amazing shoe. Purchased for trip to WDW. 15 miles of walking each day and feet and legs were always comfortable. Not sure if foam is infused with nitrogen or pixie dust. Have not used for jogging yet but very stable for speed walking, you feel like they propel you forward. Amazing shoes.

Decent, but run large. They are soft and do feel good, but the sizing is off.

Great Fitting Shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
Wow. The shoemfor my feet;;;;; First shoe I ever got frombrooks that feels comfortable without multiple shoe modifications that I havenhad to make for my multiplr problems. The Ghost 17 has greatcushuining but the top did not fit my foot problems without modifying yhe top of the shoe to allow the right movement. I still knew the shoe was causing my bunion to know it was there. The AdrenalineGTS 24 fit the top of my foot because of the medial structure of the shoe that allowed the top of my foot to be comfortable but was too stiff. Then I saw the Ghost Max 3 that had a similar top of the shoe to the Adrenaline but much better with a soft top. and less side support Put my insole(Powerstep Wide) and elastic laces and have been smiling ever since as it actually fits and allows ankle and foot motion. I can move again!!! Thanks to the designers to fit my needs without my own modifications which is why normally I need to buya shoe and modify it to allow me to move This shoe feels great and allows my kinetic chainto work right. Lst night onmy Concept 2 rower I was faster than I had been for a long time.

Comfy, lot's of cushion, but narrow!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I purchased the new Ghost Max 3 and so far they are wonderful! I had to go with a wider (2EE) shoe as the regular D width was much too narrow. I didn't have to go with 2EE in the Adrenaline 22, 23, or the Glycerin 21 shoes but the Ghost Max 3 were much more narrow than the shoes I had been wearing. The 2EE in a 9.5 was very comfortable with lots plush cushioning. I use them for the cross-trainer, treadmill at the gym and just walking around during the day. If you don't want a lot of cushioning then these aren't for you, but then they don't call Ghost Max 3 for nothing!

Loose in the toe box. Upper knit is loose/flimsy as well and foot is not stable. Lack of foot stability + large midsole makes these shoes a broken ankle waiting to happen. Style is nice but these shoes are dangerous. Would return if possible.
