Lovely skirt but the advertising pictures were not very revealing......i wasnt aware it had an elasticated waist & it was mot mentioned in the description.......its still a nice skirt but im not raving about it & will have to hide the waistband with a jacket.......i detest elasticated waistbands

The material and colours are lovely but the skirt is far too long. I am 5’6 and it went down to my ankles which didn’t look right for the style with the two splits in the front. It did fit perfectly around the waist. Sadly returned, when will M&S get their sizing right.

This skirt isn't too formal but is extremely stylish and can be dressed up and down as required. At £12 in the sale it is a gift and worth spending the time to shorten to suit. I am very happy with it.

Too long , too straight ,I did like the pattern though but not the material , wrinkles too easily. Some items at M&S are not as good for quality as they once were.

I was slightly dubious about ordering this skirt due to the mixed reviews. However I'm glad I did. Yes, the material is very light but in my opinion this makes it ideal for hotter days. I like the swing the side splits give and the colour mix is to my taste. I'm only 5'2" but wanted a long length so ordered the regular length and on me this is not midi but long, which suites me fine.

I bought this skirt at a reduced price so I have kept it to wear while shielding. It is a light material suitable for warm days but unfortunately the stitch has patches where it crinkles the fabric. The design needs more fabric in the skirt to make the most of the slits - as it is a close fit makes my hips look large. It’s not like the rest of my collection of M&S skirts at all!

This is a very pretty summer lightweight skirt. However the length is too long. I am 5'5 and will have to shorten it by about 4 inches! However it is a good buy in the sale.
