I bought this specific bra as it doesn’t have any metal parts . I found this type excellent to use if undertaking long walks while carrying a backpack as the metal parts in a normal bra were rubbing against the skin on my back . I will certainly buy again . .

Comfortable- if you can get it on!

Overall this is a good top -I can't really describe it as a bra as it offers little support and is more suited to be called a cropped top. It can be worn under tops and doesn't flare so will sit snug, but the band across the chest seems to have zero stretch at all. I can fit it on because I can squeeze it over my head and am fairly hypermobile enough to slide into it, but it isn't easy to put on at all! Once on it looks good. I'm a 32C or 32B depending on where I'm at in the month (#ifyouknowyouknow) and would say if you're a 34 band you might struggle with this. I actually have this in beige but in a medium and though the band offered less of a battle to fit on the cup was way too large hence going down to a size small with this one. However; I have noticed the fit between the black/navy and the grey/beige/blue Gaia pants was quite different so I'd wonder if the same could be said for the tops and bras, I wouldn't like to guess as the sizing in the Gaia range seems a bit all over the place! It is a well made and mostly flattering top I think. If I were to alter anything I'd possibly make the shoulder bands slightly longer so the front V didn't sit as high, the straps cannot be made longer, the cups have inserts which can be removed and the feel of the fabric is comfy without being the "bamboo" style which tends to bobble, I think this top would fare much better after a few washes (and btw it does wash well and hasn't shrunken in a 40 degree synthetics wash nor a tumble dry). I would usually be a fan of the Mindfulness bras (much larger in fit compared to this "bra"!) and would prefer the lower cut but with the Mindfulness bras they offer zero support and I prefer this style for the well constructed feel. Would I buy this again? I bought this in the sale and feel like I got a bargain. I would consider another colour if they were also in the sale but I wouldn't be able to justify this at it's full price. But I would recommend it if you are looking for a Yoga bra, are fairly flexible and are not looking for a sweat wicking, max support bra to hold you all in, this is a nice enough bra but it won't do any of those things!

A hint of cleavage and good support

Really nice shape that holds really well (doesn't flatten the chest like other sports bras) and a really nice combo with the Gaia jumpsuit

Lovely sports bra, really comfortable, they were out of stock in my usual size so went up a size and it fits fine, it’s super supportive. Like the fact it’s padded especially for colder months, that said if you don’t like it padded they can easily be removed

Have always been a medium with SB bras but this one squashed me flat. Have returned it. Fabric very compressing.

Potential, but not for large busts
Originally posted on sweatybetty.com
The fabric felt lovely, looked like it had the potential to provide enough shape and support but, as with all 'bras' and support tops from SB, not really able to cope with large cupsizes. The side boob and cleavage overspill was too much, thought about trying the next size up but then the band at the bottom wouldnt have been tight enough. So a lovely top potentially if you're the right shape for it.

I always read reviews! I have a small back and large not firm breasts. I'm 42 and 32E, I bought a Medium and it is good! I have tried so many yoga bras and they always pull on my neck, this one is not perfect, there's some pulling, but it's better than many including the one I have designed especially for bigger busts. The fabric is really soft, there's good uplift and nice shape. I would recommend.

I bought this bra in my regular size Small (I'm normally a 34B) and it fits just right, but also gives me a really flattering neckline. It's one of the most comfortable SB bras I own, and will be buying this in more than just the black colour. I've used it for yoga and lounging at home and the band doesn't roll up like other bras and stays in place which is great, even when sat down. Bought it to match back with my Gaia yoga trousers and it's a gorgeous yoga outfit. Couldn't recommend more! #teamsweatybetty

I have E cup so it’s hard to find any bra to work well in any type of class. This is good and some good support.

Great for yoga/reformer Pilates

Big fan here of the new Gaia yoga bra: The fabric is sturdy but soft, which gives the bra a bit more support than I would have thought from looking at the model's photo. Of course, being a 28F/30E I wouldn't dare do too much medium impact exercise in it, but overall it's comfy for lounging around the house in and vinyasa and reformer Pilates classes. I debated about ordering a S or a M given the other reviews - I went with a S as previously when I've sized up in SB bras, I haven't felt supported enough with the M size. I ideally needed a size in between a S and a M but stuck with the S given I have a small back and wanting to feel a bit more held in. #teamsweatybetty

A really comfortable bra

I bought this primarily for yoga comfort, but as others have also indicated, it is so comfortable I have tended to wear it regardless of yoga. The sizing recommendations are good - S for me at 30E - although in the course of the day I note that things start to droop a bit. Accordingly I don’t think the bra (for me) is for under light summer wear. For smaller boobs perhaps.

I really enjoy wearing this super soft yoga bra. I am XS (34A) and I've got size S, fits well. It's quite thick, so I wouldn't recommend it for high intesity workouts. Good for everyday wear and low intensity workout/yoga.

This is the best yoga bra I have purchased EVER! The fabric has a gorgeous soft hand feel and the silhouette is so flattering. Even though this is low impact it still offers me support as I am a larger cup size. #teamsweatybetty
