Medium Support Post Surgery Sports Bra S-XL

It was such a relief to find a bra that didn’t look medical in such a distressing time as having a lumpectomy. This bra is great and very supportive.

Bought to wear after a lumpectomy - tried several options and this was by far the most flattering (just looks like you’ve been for a workout at the gym!) and comfortable! Needed to size up quite a bit… I’m normally a 32D and ended up buying a large! Easy to get on and off and gentle on my scar! Be nice if it came in white as well as black/grey.

I appreciate M&S doing post surgery bras for prosthesis wearers, but I have found I don't reach for those I've bought finding better options from other retailers. This one is much more comfy than the other version of the M&S sports bra in black, due to the very soft and stretchy material. That said, the nature of the cups - no foam shaped cup, just stretchy materials - means my real boob gets squashed so the normal prosthesis I wear for sport sticks out much further so I am lopsided. I will try this bra with my softie prosthesis and see if I can get a more symmetrical look. I will probably use this bra for walking and/or in cold weather with plenty of layers, when asymmetry and a lack of 'bounce' from my prosthesis won't be so obvious and make me self conscious. I would say this would be very comfy and supportive for immediately post surgery with a softie. Much cheaper for this than the specialist bras.

I got this bra to make things easier after shoulder surgery. The XLarge fits my 36 B size without it being too tight. However I am unable to manage the zip without help. You would definitely need two good arms to do on your own. Overall happy with my purchase.

Good Quality. Comfortable fit but not enough support 3 weeks after surgery. Good support after 6 weeks.

Very supportive it’s a nightmare to put on though. I ended up with the large size even though I am only 36b. The straps are also very wide and can be seen under clothes.

I bought this bra for after my lumpectomy. It was perfect. It is supportive, comfortable and, because it is front fastening, very easy to get on and off. I can’t praise it enough. If you need a bra for after surgery, this is most definitely the one to buy. Thank you M&S!

This bra looks and feels very good but the sizing is unbelievablely wrong! The XL is supposed to fit a 20/22 and someone a size 12 would even struggle to fit into this.

The medium is perfect for daytime wear but a little tight to wear at night so have the large for nighttime I’m a size 10-12, 34 inch bust

The 3 stars are because of the size; otherwise would have given 5 Lovely, soft material I am a smallish size 16 with a F cup. I read the reviews and as many women commented that the bra sizing is small, I ordered an XL (20-22) - it only just fits! It's tight, but does the job after a mastectomy. Come on M&S, after so many comments, get the sizing right! The design of the bra is great and the zip fastening in the front works really well.

Good post surgery bra. Front hook and zip fastening takes a bit of getting used to. Good price. Would be nice to have choice of colour.

This bra is really so comfortable I think I will buy another. I didnt expect it to be so brilliant but it really is. Its supportive and flattering with a nice wide band under the armpit.

Hmm. Somewhere between 'does the job' and ' do I send it back?' The front fastening takes some doing , lots of dragging amd stretching and even the hook, half way up, which I assume is meant to help, doesn't really. So it takes a couple of goes to put on. There is a cover at the top of the zip to hide it, but all that happens is you have a very obvious bump under clothes when the zip is slid under the cover. Support is ok - my shoulders ache a bit if I wear it all day. I would suggest that if you are post-op, you wear it in bed, but find something else during the day.

Comfortably and easy to put on. Looks good and good value for money. I would er on larger size if unsure which size to go for.
