Dobby Textured V-Neck Long Sleeve Blouse

I love this top, it's very flattering. I don't like tight things across my tummy. Very pretty and soft material. It even came with a cami to stop in being see through. Perfect

Very sadly, needed black clothing for a funeral, as I don’t wear black at all day to day. This was perfect. Fitted in with my normal style of dress, yet was smart enough for the occasion. Would recommend, sad occasion or not.

I'm usually a size 8 in M&S and this was the best fit for me although because of the style, the 10 also looked fine. I settled on the 8 because the cut of the blouse looks more flattering, although the cami is a touch on the close-fitting side around the underarms. In preference to the size 10, you can see the shaping better - and it's pretty. But, if you prefer a looser fit, sizing up will still look good, it will just hang more like an oversized top as opposed to a shaped one. I also found that the bottom of the size 8 cami sat nicely at the bottom without being tight, providing a neater line under the blouse (with it being see-through) and the size 10 cami looked a bit untidy. Just a personal preference. I suspect a lot of the reason for many of the camisoles 'going missing' from instore is because of the size issue - where a customer wants the blouse in a particular size for the fit, but the accompanying camisole is too tight. The blouse is really nicely finished and detailed - typical of what we've become accustomed to from M&S through the decades but which has gone a little astray of late. Though, it has to be said, it has not gone unnoticed that standards have slipped for most of the high street stores.

Bought the black & white size 14, sit at the waist

This is lovely and so fine and light that it’s going to be really useful for me in summer because I like to cover my arms without being too hot. It’s cut quite short, but that’s the right shape for high waisted, wide trousers and jeans. The only thing that I’ve marked it down for is that under cami is a little bit tight, but I will probably wear a black cotton vest under it anyway.
