A Complete Guide to Letterbox Flowers

Emily LambeWhat are letterbox flowers?
Worried about sending flowers to celebrate a loved one's big day? Enter our range of letterbox flowers. These beautiful blooms are packaged so they fit through a letterbox, how clever is that?
As the recipient doesn’t have to be home for delivery, you don’t have to worry about picking a date and time or being left on the doorstep – they’ll be safe inside, waiting to be discovered when they walk through the door. No signature, no bulky packaging, no fuss.
Letterbox flowers are also a great choice for those who love to craft their own arrangements. The recipient unpacks the stems, gives them a trim and arranges them in a vase, so they can decide on the final look.

How to send flowers by post
We offer free nominated delivery for all flowers and plants, excluding Northern Ireland, with a free gift message included. We also offer next-day delivery for those last-minute celebrations – just order by 7pm Monday to Friday or by 5pm at weekends.
Our carriers can leave your order in a safe place and will let you know what time it will be delivered. Letterbox flowers can simply be slipped through the door for the easiest and most secure delivery option.
How do letterbox flowers stay fresh?
Picked with care from trusted and sustainable growers, our letterbox flowers are packed in tightly closed buds. This prevents bruising and damage during delivery, protecting the delicate petals. The flower heads will gradually open at home, prolonging their life and making sure they keep fresh for as long as possible.
Once you receive your bouquet, fill a clean vase with fresh water and the included flower food. Cut three centimetres off the bottom of each stem at an angle, then prune any leaves that sit below the water level.
To arrange the flowers, place the foliage stems on opposite sides of the vase, then evenly space the flowers, alternating colour and height to create depth. Keep the bouquet in a cool spot and refresh the water every few days.
