A sting in the tail! Beware!

Well -made shirts but with a sting in the tail. I took one out of the pack and was pleased with the fit. Within 24 hours my arms were covered in an angry itchy rash. I did some research online and discovered that the dyes used on some materials could cause dermatitis. I stopped wearing the shirt and got some ointment to treat the rash. I might be the only one who was unaware of this fact but it might have helped me avoid a painful few days if there had been a warning on the packaging that the shirt should be washed before wearing.

These shirts are ok but nothing like the quality they used to be. I’ve bought my shirts from M&S for years and was disappointed with these, material is much thinner almost feels like paper! I think I’ll have to look elsewhere as won’t be buying these again, get the quality back M&S or you will lose customers!!

My mistake, thought these were cotton not a poly cotton mix. The geometric one feels awful , maybe it softens with washing but the fit was also poor …the sleeves were very baggy .

No Pocket
No breast pocket as per all my previous M&S shirts, also no indication of this omission in the online description or on the packaging. Also sleeve length a small bit shorter than my existing M&S shirts that I am wearing now.

Shirt size
These shirts are fine, though a bit tight across my shoulders and around my waist though the collar size I bought, fifteen and a half, is the size I have alway purchased from M and S. All my previously shirts from M and S are a good fit. Make sure you measure your self accurately before purchase and, if in doubt, buy a larger collar size.

The quality of the shirts I brought
I brought 2 shirts from m&s they were lovely I didn’t need to iron them I took them out of the washing. Machine put them on a hanger and they come up beautifully I shall definitely buy them again it’s the first time in 20 years of marriage that I didn’t iron my husbands shirts the quality was wonderful I would really recommend buying shirts from m&s they are worth the money
