Waxed Pure Cotton Utility Jacket

Love the style of the jacket. I’d say size down. The arm length is a little short of me, I’m 5’8 (not wearing it rolled up like model). Got it on the sale so was well priced. Only down side is that it requiring the lint roller as it attracts dust, but I’m sure with more wear that’ll disappear. Happy with purchase.

I love this coat. It looks really expensive but I wish it were an inch longer on my 5’2” frame.

Love this jacket! Fit is oversized but not if you have broad shoulders so don’t size down if so. Very welcome twist on a classic jacket and appreciate the cropped length being 5ft 3. Have been wearing daily in this cold weather and keeps me sufficiently warm. Hoping to wear for many years to come.

Very oversized, so size down, British millerain fabric, pity it has to go abroad to be manufactured. Would have liked a hood through.

I really wanted to love this jacket, I like a boxy oversized fit, but this was huge. I’m normally around a size 10, but even the 8 was ridiculously huge and triangular in shape. Very unflattering and tightening up the waistband didn’t help. I’d try a 6 if it was in stock. Such a shame, because the fabric and weight was perfect.

I was pulled in by the very trendy photos, but was hesitant on the price. However I’m so glad I ordered it! It’s so boxy and heavy and such high quality. I’ve worn it in the rain twice and for the most part it just rolls right off, sometimes it holds a bit of dampness but it’s to be expected with it being cotton. Really love this purchase, can always count on M&S for the star buys.

Initially ordered my size but far too big so had to downsize. I had to pull in the cord at the waist because without this the front sticks out weirdly. Overall, a very nice jacket, love the neck detail. Good quality, warm and looks good. I bought the jeans that are in the photo too and the whole outfit looks great

Lovely loose fitting jacket. I have been looking for a wax jacket for a while. This ticks all the boxes. As well as being practical it is really on trend with the shape. There are studs under collar to attach hood but no option to buy one even as an extra. Can anyone tell me if there is one available as that would be the icing on the cake.

Was bought for everyday use. These jackets - or Barbour Jackets - at least, do tend to look better the more you wear them. I’m hoping this jacket does the same as my Barbours, which are getting pretty old now. The only thing I’m not keen on is the inside pull cord which gives them a more shapely look, whereas Barbours are cut more shapely. I got this jacket for a good price, it’s well put together and quality materials obviously used. Here’s hoping it becomes a classic favourite. I actually bought two of them, one for my daughter and one for myself. My daughter is thrilled with hers. They are not cheap so I’m hoping they last many years

This is a great buy. Like everyone else, I was looking at the Barbours but the cost was too high. I’d usually buy an 18 in coats and jackets for comfort but the 16 is plenty big. The colour in my opinion, is more a brown shade but it’s described as olive. Love this jacket.

Excellent jacket, great value for money, and easily mistaken for the real thing. Warm to wear with a nice oversized, almost a-line fit.
