Watercolour Striped Shirt Dress

I bought the dress in the sale and it actually looks great with leggings and flat shoes, great deal for the price.

Lovely dress but not flattering on me at 5ft 2in. Made me look larger than my size 10

I saw this dress in the sale and although I liked it, I did expect it to be unsuitable. You never can tell until you try it on. It fits perfectly and the material is soft and silky but not see-through. My husband says it looks good and is an out of character purchase.

I am usually a size 12, but ordered a size 10 as M&S sizing can be generous. This was huge. Even accounting for the relaxed style there was no way I could make this work. The collar was very stylish (i.e. button up to the top), which also did not suit me or the style of dress - an open collar would be better, considering the baggy style.

Such a shame that this dress is so badly made and I'm surprised your quality control didn't pick it up and complain to the manufacturers. It needs someone in your office to try it on, the collar is squew whiff, the sleeves are impossible to get very much past the wrist and I have very slim arms and the body of the dress seemed very wide. I like the idea of the dress and would buy one that fitted.
