Bought for a 90th birthday. Generous layers of sponge, jam and cream. Cream decoration on the outside was excellent. Cut beautifully and I got more than 20 slices. Enjoyed by everyone.

No, I don't recommend this
I bought this cake because the description said that it was covered in royal icing. I thought that would justify the price, and picked it especially as the family love a bit of royal icing. I thought it would be a treat. But instead of royal icing, it's covered completely in buttercream. In fact, so much buttercream that the majority of it ended up in the bin. The cake tasted good, but to be honest, because it was not as advertised, I feel like I've been ripped off.
