I got this for the family at Easter and l have never seen a cake go so quickly. Light sponge , just the right amount of cream/ Jam. Great size and although light to eat it was quite heavy in weight. Good value - It will not last for very longš

Bought for a joint birthday celebration after a meal out. Usually buy the food to order but arrangements made with not enough notice to do this. Cake was a good size. However found it too sweet and a little dry. Was ok for the price.

Bought for my sonās 21st birthday, his request as he wanted a Victoria sponge. Unfortunately although my son liked it I thought it was too heavy, a Victoria sponge should be light and fluffy and this was not light or fluffy sadly. Best part about it was the buttercream that did not disappoint

I was disappointed that this cake was pre-sliced as I had bought it to decorate with fondant icing for a birthday. The initial illustration I had seen didnāt show this aspect, and I thought the other photo was āserving suggestionā. I admit it was mentioned further down in the description so it is my fault for not spotting that. However I do feel this should be highlighted more obviously as it seems rather unusual! We did also find the slices too large so it took away that choice too, leaving aside the problems of icing it!
