Excellent Victoria Sponge. I used the cake for my birthday and everyone commented on how soft the sponge was and just the right amount of buttercream and jam for the filling. The cake was presliced in the box and wrapped and instructions how to store the cake too. I was still able to put candles into each sliced section which was great I would certainly recommend this cake.

Bought for a large gathering and was not disappointed. The cake was moist, generously sliced (at lest in terms of portion sizes!) and delicious. Did not let us down as some cheaper, shop bought ones can be on the dry side but this absolutely wasn't.

I am so happy that you brought back your delicious Victoria sponge. I will be buying it for my son’s birthday every year and various other celebrations. For several years I have been buying the Naked sponges and having to dissect each layer to add jam in the effort to recreate the Victoria…now I don’t have to…Thankyou so much.

The sponge cake was bought as a 90th Birthday Cake. It was fresh, with generous filling of jam and buttercream, traditional and suitable for older people. It was very helpful in that it had already been marked out in 15 slices. This made serving easy and frustration free - you knew there was enough cake for everyone at the Birthday Party. We didn't want a cake with lots of icing and cream so this Victoria Sponge was ideal as fillings were generous but not excessive.
