Bought these because my previous skechers hiking boots were rigid and heavy. very pleased, these are so comfy and i love the colours. Good support on ankle too.

Great comfy lightweight walking boot

I bought these as a town/apres ski shoe when skiing. I bought a half size bigger than normal to accommodate a ski sock so generally I’d say the sizing is accurate. The upper is much more forgiving than a traditional sturdy walking boot so they needed very little walking in. Some reviews have said they weren’t waterproof but my pair kept my feet dry in 3-4inch snow when dropping my child for ski school each morning. I’ve only been wearing them 4 weeks but they are really comfy and totally do the job so far.

warm comfy boots
Very comfy boots no issues with blisters ! only negative the tongue is a bit stiff... haven't worn in heavy rain yet hoping they live up to the description

Not fit for purpose

I have had a pair of Trailstorm Ascend Waterproof Hiking Boots less than 3 months. I walk approx 3 miles per day on country roads, not rough terrain and the treads in the soles have worn down almost flat in the area of the balls of the feet. This morning after a walk on damp grass in the park my feet were cold and wet so these boots are definitely NOT waterproof !
