I bought this to be a slightly warmer coat than my other Regatta jacket that has no lining. Ideal for Autumn going into Winter. The lining is beautifully soft and warm but not bulky. It still folds up into the hood for easy carrying. Very reasonable price for great quality.

Bought it less than a month ago. I visited Hafren Forest with high expectations. Found myself with a wet jacket and t-shirt. Waterproof for the first 30 minutes, after the jacket got darker in colour and wet. The walk was 2 hours and by the time I got back to the car I could squeeze water from the jacket. Totally disappointed.

If you have a fleece underneath, this is a brilliant jacket for hiking. Lots of pockets to store things, lightweight but keeps the wind & rain at bay. Walked up Mam Tor, Dragons Back & Winnats Pass with it (January) and more than did the job.
