Tempo Run Layered Running Shorts

Bought black and navy and they are so comfortable most especially the waist band. I highly recommend this shorts!

I love these shorts! They are really comfy when running and I love the pocket for my phone.

So comfy and flattering. Off to buy another pair in another colour to complete my running wardrobe this summer.

Had to return because the under shirt cut in to my thighs make them completely out of shape, which is a shame because they look good otherwise

These are great shorts - everything covered but still cool enough for working out on a warm day! The undershorts rolled up very slightly but adjusted easily. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed these shorts having been on several runs in them, the inner shorts don't ride up and the outer layer makes them really flattering #teamsweatybetty

Always love Sweaty Betty. I bought these shorts for a race and was quite disappointed as they kept riding up so were a bit uncomfortable during the run. The quality is however top notch. I think the inner could do with being a bit longer and of fabric that stays out.

I like the look and feel of the shorts. They are indeed ultra lightweight. Unfortunately I can’t comment on how they are to wear because I couldn’t get them past mid-thigh. I’m a size 10 usually and hips measure 37/38. I ordered medium thinking that would be correct but back they must go. I’m now ordering a size L and Xl so watch this space. The other thing I’d mention is that the back pocket is very small. Not big enough for much more than a car key and some tissue. My phone just about squeezes into the inner phone pocket, those of you with new iPhones may do better.

I purchased these reluctantly, having read the reviews reporting issues with riding up during a run. This problem did not materialise during my test run of circa 8km. However, size M felt bit snug. The inside layer material is rather thick - it could be much lighter, given there is a top layer for cover up, e.g. material similar to Rapha trail liner product. I am left handed and the side pocket is on the left - but quite far back so I lost some valuable time fiddling with trying to deposit and retrieve my phone. My go to running gear are Power 7/8 Gym Leggings. I was hoping to complement these with new shorts of equally high calibre. Sadly they are not the match I was hoping for.

Obsessed with these shorts - want every colour!! Quite honestly, my favourite pair of running shorts (and I have tried a lot!). I have a couple of pairs from their main brand competitor and have to say that these are far more comfortable and much more flattering. The mid-high waist rise is great (holds tummy in - feel confident with these & no top - i.e., just a sports bra). They don't ride up (or fall down - no hiking up mid-run), and the lining design is super good in the heat (hides any sweat).

Loved the colour but I tend to run smaller around my hips so these were too baggy for me.
