Panelled Asymmetric Waistcoat

I loved the look of this waistcoat online. Very similar to a full length Limited Edition one my daughter had many years ago. I wasn’t able to get one in my size at the time, so was delighted to see this one. The shade of green is lovely. Very much the shade of green olives. I ordered size 16 as per size guide and what I would normally buy. It’s actually a bit big and quite long on me; not helped by the fact that I am only 5ft.2ins. The model is 5ft.8ins. so it is the right length on her. . Together with the matching trousers ( which ARE available in several lengths) the proportions are all wrong for my height. The length of the waistcoat made my legs look short. I have ordered a size 14 to see if that is any better but it really needs re-cutting for a petite fit. Not really suitable for shortening because of the placement of the pockets and the vent detail at the back. Keeping my fingers crossed for the smaller size because it really is a lovely garment

The waistcoat looks lovely, good quality. I have not tried in on yet as not well, but hopefully will be pleased with the look

I wore this with the olive green trousers also from M&S to go out to a ‘ladies that lunch’ afternoon . I had so many compliments about the outfit . It was really comfortable to wear.

Very smart top/waiscoat, perfect fit and great quality

A lovely firm fabric, and fully lined. This is really very well made, and a true-to-size fit. The high neckline isn’t right on me, unfortunately, but if you like it, and like the asymmetry of the cut, then this is a good purchase.
