Bought this waistcoat for my holidays, wore it once, after washing as instructed the quality of the fabric was awful! It had faded and looked liked I had had it years! Very disappointed as it really looked good when new. Had to return it.

As other reviewers have said, the item faded badly after one wash. Very disappointing given the price and expected better from M&S. It’s a shame because I got lots of compliments from the first wear but now looks awful.

I bought the matching shorts to go with this waistcoat and it made a really lovely outfit. Yes, the shorts are quite short and not for everyone but the style and colour look really great, I had lots of comments when I wore it. When I tried it on, both belt loops fell off so I had to stitch them back on. I’ve still given it 5* though because I love the outfit so much. Haven’t washed it yet so crossing my fingers it’ll look ok afterwards.

A little big - I find that M&S don’t have reliable sizing anymore - I bought this in a 8, and it was big under the arms, I bought a couple of other tops on the same day in an 8 and they were small! I have had trousers in a 8 that are small but then take a 6 in jeans - ???

Unfortunately after one wash the colour faded significantly. It is very sad, as the design is very nice and I would have loved to use this for way longer. I don’t recommend it.

Beautiful Waistcoat
Although the waistcoat is on a pricier side (£55) it is worth every penny. The quality, the linen like fabric, the fit are just spot on! I love wearing it, it is very flattering and it washes well. I hand washed it a couple of times and I had no problems with ironing it either. I absolutely love it! Well done M&S!

I love the cut and colour its stunning I did also buy the matching shorts however they are way too short and barely skim my cheeks! I am tall but as a maturer lady despite gym works out being slim the shorts just don't work and if I can't find a suitable bottoms then the waistcoat may also have to be returned - gutted !
