Admittedly I purchased these melamine plates in the sale so the price does have a bearing on my review, but I literally gasped with joy when I opened them and saw the design and how lovely they are. Really pretty and very unusual. I bought the side plates first then decided to add to them with the dinner plates and pasta bowls. Haven't used yet so can't comment on wear and tear.

Love the dedigns of these plates and the colours. I have bought the dinner plates, side plates and bowls. Would have liked to have bought a set of 4 tumblers to match. Unfortunately only available singly and only two designs so I didnt purchase. The dinner plates i ordered online came with two elephants in the pack of four so time and travel costs to re order and then return/collect. Not good enough M&S.

I previously purchase 4 cereal, dessert or soup bowls; they are so functional I therefore could not resist the Dinner Plates to match. They are dishwasher safe and are as colourful and bright with an enhanced shine when retrieved from the dishwasher. Perfect for everyday use and particularly for the garden or on a picnic. I am so pleased with them that I also purchased 4 side plates. The wild animals depicted are delightful.
