After reading reviews in this dress I ordered a size 14 & 16. The 14 fitted everywhere except being tight under the arms. The 16 was too big everywhere else. Loved the dress though.

Dress hangs nothing like the picture, material is quite cheap and not flattering at all. Even at 50% off still not worth the price. Swiftly sent this back!

I had my eye on this dress for a while. My mum put me off buying it at first because she didn't like the handkerchief style. This worked in my favour because when I went online to order it and try again, it was half price on Black Friday! Well, I am over the moon with it. I showed my partner and he thinks it looks great. Very flattering. It also feels good too!

I thought the price and fabric were good but it was a bit tight across the chest and too short for me. I think it would suit someone with very slim hips as it tends to stick out at the sides for someone more curvy

M & S has got it spot on with this dress. The cut makes it extremely flattering. The length comes just below my knee ( im 5'' 4') which is great for me. A dress to wear again and again.

I ordered this is both a 12 and 14 as I wasn't sure what size I am. Both didn't fit :-( . So I ended up wearing another dress - size 12 from other department store. Very disappointed with M&S on this one.

Loved the style, fabric and fit (though the lining was a little loose in the bodice). Assumed the fabric was exclusive to M&S. Could wear in the evening for formal meals and then dress it down with boots and a cardigan for work. Good quality and well made.

I was looking for something a little different and not too sparkly and the dress fit the bill - not a normal M&S style dress which made it a little different. however, if you have any chest at all you really need to try it on - I am still in 2 minds whether to keep it which is such a shame. there is no room at all for the lady with a slightly larger chest size - when you are in, trust me nothing is going to move! I am going to try it again with an all in one or something similar but that would mean you will see the straps - so still very much in 2 minds about this one.

I was looking for a little black dress with a bit of a twist, to wear to my 40th birthday do. This dress caught my eye, the fabric and shape were a bit quirky and had a designer feel. Really pleased with it, and a perfect fit: I'm a size 12, with 34c bust and 'curvy' bum and thighs, it is very flattering.

This is fab. I put it on and felt brilliant. I wore it to my works do and everybody said how nice the dress looked. It fitted like a glove.

This dress fits true to size. I am a 12 and it fits perfectly. It is a very flattering style and feels great on. I received 20% off with my Sparks card, so the price was brilliant. Well done M&S.

I was so excited about this dress - designer styling for a fraction of the price. The fit was perfect - beautifully tailored on the body. And it was well made, but the lining let it down - it looked wrinkled around the middle (especially at the back) which cheapened the look. If it wasn't so pale you may not have noticed but I would have been conscious of it when wearing it. Because of this I returned it. A shame. But bought the lace crop top and bodycon skirt instead, which I'm very happy with.

Great design, good fit but a little tight around the armpits. However still very wearable and I am hoping it will loosen a little with wear.
