I had ordered this item online as I was looking for a lantern style ornament for a newly decorated room...It can be quite difficult to imagine how an item will look from a photograph or description as you cannot necessarily get a sense of scale or size... I knew that I wanted to have fairy lights inside the lantern rather than a candle so it suited my purpose of being able to take the metal insert/candle holder out. I didn't actually realise that the lantern would be as large and as lovely as it is!! With the fairy lights inside, it is actually really effective!! I'm super impressed!! It looks just as I imagined it would (which is not always the case!) I think I may buy more...
