Sparkly Mini Shift Dress

Lovely dress for Christmas or special occasion . Perfect length for my 5’2 height. It is generous in size I did need to trim off a few cotton ends.

I cut the sleeves to elbow length as I knew I’d overheat. I also attached curtain weights in the bottom to make it hang better. Was lovely To wear, and I had lots of compliments. I found quite a few of the threads snagged but this is more about my dancing than the dress itself! Recommend.

This dress is much better looking 'in the flesh' than it looks in the pictures online. In reality the Silver sequins stand out better than the Black. Because it's tightly covered in good quality sequins the dress is heavy, and so it hangs well. The other thing is that the model wearing the dress is 5' 10.1/2" so if you're a more regular height (I'm 5' 4"- nearly anyway) so the hem rested much closer to my knees. I ordered the Black Mix, not the Brown. Like all fully sequined items you have to be prepared for the odd scratch here and there, and that no matter how careful you are, you'll be 'shedding' sequins in your wake. Luckily as this looks like a high quality, sequin packed fabric, it will only be occasionally, when you have a cheaply made item you end up with a river of sequins on the dancefloor after the 1st wear.

After reading the reviews for this dress I ordered a size down .I'm normally a size 12 but I ordered a size 10 perfect fit!! The dress is gorgeous .Just perfect for this time of the year .

This dress looks great for Xmas parties. It’s very comfortable to wear due to the stretchy fabric and looks a lot more expensive than it is. It is described as a shift dress so if you want it tighter I would order a smaller size but for me the fit is just right. I can’t wait to wear it!

I am normally a size 10 and this would normally fit me. I’m 5’6” tall, the sleeves were too long and the shoulders too wide. I am a swimmer so I have quite broad shoulders and it was still big. The rest was fine- nice heavy material that would have hung nicely. Returned as didn’t look good on me. Good length as I wanted a mini. Nice dress on the right person.

Bought regular size 12 , was very large all round Go down a size !
