SuzieQ123 Stands the test of time. Sturdy and well made. I have had this table for over 6 years and it still looks like new. I don't keep it covered and it is next to a patio window and there hasn't been any fading or marks. It extends easily for special occasions. Well worth the investment.

Graham M F Sturdy Quality Table Was delivered as a very well prepared and protected flat pack and constructed in only a few minutes by the very polite (2-man) M&S delivery partners. Extremely well made and presented and easily extended when needed. Wood grain looks good and hopefully will be hard wearing over the coming years.

Useanyone Good table I ordered this table then a few days later this was discounted by 10% On delivery we had to assemble this ourselves. However the four corners have gaps see photos attached I would be grateful for your comments regarding this I have other Sonoma furniture which I am more than happy with

david_t Great looking and really solid This extending table is excellent. Really like the simple modern styling and great, solid wood grain. It looks great extended too, and I’m glad the extension is stored underneath rather than as a separate piece you have to find a place for somewhere. It really finishes off our kitchen/diner brilliantly.

di2918 Seats 10 comfortably I've owned this for almost two years now. Great for everyday use for family of 4 (unextended) but purchased specifically for the times we want to have large gatherings. When extended, it's ideal for seating ten with placemats, cutlery, wine glasses and water glasses per person; (Pre pandemic!) I've managed to seat up to 12 for a cosy three-course meal although that meant two at each end of the table sitting side-by-side so it depends how roomy your guests want to be and how wide your dining chairs are. The only criticism I have is the design of grooves on the table top - crumbs inevitably fall into these and a solid top would have been preferable.

WhatElse2 Good size table We have had this table a few months now and as other reviews have mentioned it is not solid wood so have kept it covered. The corners and legs have quite sharp edges and we have bumped our legs on them many times and it hurts! Does anyone know if it is possible to sand them down without ruining the table?

LNBH Excellent solid table Have had this table for over ten years now and looking to sell it on now we are redecorating. It has been first rate, even squeezing round a party of 12, when extended. Still looks good so would recommend.

Anglesey1972 Varnish wears off. Sags in the middle I bought this table approximately 6 years ago thinking this would last a lifetime. Sadly the varnish finish is wearing off and the table is starting to look shabby. The table has also started to sag in the middle - it doesn't seem to push together as it should. We have not used the extending piece in the middle that much so it is not like we have always been extending the table and then putting it back together. Sadly it seems I am not the only one to have issues with the table finish. For the price you pay this table should last a long time and under the sale of goods act I don't think this meets the 'of satisfactory quality' criteria. Come on M&S do the right thing and replace those that are faulty.

Tiredallthetime dining room table etc We have had ours for about 5 years and because I believed it was solid wood I thought it would be OK. However on reading other comments I have kept mine totally covered with a table protector, table clothes and mats. We also have the three door cabinet with the extra glass top, three books cases, in the sitting room we have two nest of tables, one side table, the TV 'cabinet' and a small book case. The furniture fits well but if we downsize it will have to be sold because it is very large. The furniture is excellent quality but as in everything you must take proper care of it and if you do, it will last. Don't forget before you order measure your space and mark it with masking tape to get an idea of the size.

fbLondon Sonoma Dining table Really happy with my table. I already have the bedroom range so it wasn't difficult to choose this range for the dining room. It'a as I expected - sturdy and very comfortably seating 8. I'm sure we could manage 10. The delivery men were so good, neat, tidy and were away within 10 minutes. Greta service. Took advantage of the 30% discount which made it very affordable. Would definitely recommend this table. It's only been a week but we love it.

Delivery crew assembled and showed how to use the extending leaf. We ordered this table as we got the Sonoma bedroom range recently which we are also delighted with. Will be getting bookcase next!

DB03 looks fantastic Solid, looks absolutely fantastic, just recently purchased in sparks sale which made it better value and the reason only 4 stars. We were hoping to keep our old chairs however once seeing the table went on and purchased the matching chairs. sets off the dining room lovely. bought online, previously viewed lots in store beforehand

SBtwinmom Solid well built item Solid well built dining room table, easy to extend. Need two to lift and move as its heavy but looks great in the dining room with the matching sideboard. Totally recommend M&S furniture wouldnt buy from anywhere else

Silverfox1966 sonoma dining table problems Bought this table some years ago and if i knew the table top was not solid oak but veneer i would not have bought it .the lacquer seems to have lifted in small patches all over the top and looks terrible. I Don't really know how to make it look better. The patches don't take a wood stain ,i cant sand it down because it is not real wood even the extended part has patches and i have hardly took this out. The chairs don't seem to be affected though so ill give it one star. complained to m&s before but they don't care because its out of warranty. Any onre else had this problem? Any idea how to fix it? Won't be buying any more furniture from m&s in future.
