Fortunately I tried this bow tie when I got home, rather than waiting until I was about to attend a formal situation. I SIMPLY COULD NOT WORK OUT HOW TO ADJUST THE NECK SIZE. In fact I then consulted with no less than 3 competent ladies who could not work it out either, and eventually took it back to the store. Admittedly when explained it was then obvious, but if I had been about to attend a formal situation it could have been a disaster.
