Have purchased for Christmas so split into 2 and frozen. Could be better vfm. Also name is misleading as although it’s a trademark, one is led to believe its from Scotland but there is no Lochmuir in Scotland!

id rather not be pushed too eat it all within a week like the smoked trout it would be more convenient if the fish was split into two packets or even three packets so that you can keep them in the freezer for a later date thanks for reading.

There was a good amount of it and it was tasty. The only drawback is that it is difficult to separate out the pieces to arrange them as indicated in the illustration.

What can I say? Incredibly fresh and tasty, and well presented... Another first for our next party

again Outstanding Quality

This salmon is the best I have ever had! I recommend having it with cream cheese on a crunchy baguette, goes down a treat. Having said this, I think there could be just a few more slices included to improve the value. 10/10 and would recommend any salmon lovers out there to give this awesome product a go!

I, unfortunately, didn't get a chance to try any of the salmon at my party so my opinion of its taste must be based on the fact that it very soon had all gone! It comes in a sort of flat pack so you need to take out each slice and present it on a plate, but a good choice for a gathering.

Excellent flavour and lots of it.

This was for a party and we ordered many different party food items. The packaging was excellent and selection and quality brilliant. Many of friends asked where we got the food as it was so nice.

M&S have succeeded to bring a great new product to market with great taste and great value. Strongly recommended.

The slicing of the product was uneven and as it was not interleaved it was difficult to separate the slices.Once I had taken a long time and care to separate the slices I was able to present it well. However some slices were very thick.

We served 2 platters of this delicious Smoked Salmon , together with 2 Platters of the Luxury Tiger Prawn Platters , as a starter for 12 guests . A wonderfully refreshing and exceptionally tasty way to begin a meal with family and friends. I recommend the In - Store bakery Rye bread very thinly sliced and lightly buttered to accompany , along with Santini Salads . Went down a treat . The salmon was superb . Saint Clair and Marlborough SB a recommendation,too with this starter , too !

Smoked salmon can vary, but the Lochmuir side is reliably excellent, with a subtle smokiness. Lemon juice and cracked pepper set it off well. Try it with a manzanilla sherry at Xmas!
