I was looking for a silk dress for affordable price. I bought the dress on sale for the half price. I am normally a size 12 but this dress in size 12 was too big. It’s good that I have ordered two dresses in sizes 10 and 12. Also the fabric is a bit too thin for this style dress but anyway I like it so I am going to keep the dress. I cannot comment on washing - I didn’t wash it yet

Disappointing dress
No, I don't recommend this
I really wanted to like this dress. Shirt dresses are my style and I thought I would treat myself to a silk one. The bodice pulled over the bust despite my small bosom. The skirt just hung & looked cheap and oh those slits which appear on so many M&S dresses this winter. Needless to say it’s gone back.
