I have purchased the black version of this dress in a petite as I find Finery dresses, while lovely but very long. The petite is a better length, although it is small in the chest, which is an issue for me. The dress is pretty and much nicer than all the shoestring strapped dresses or high necked dresses that are everywhere now. Please don't go down that route Finery.

A great summer evening dress. Very comfy for hot weather. The dress fits neatly around the bust and then flows down, towards mid calf. The dress is lined and has a side zip. The cut away detail at knee level is a nice addition. I'm 5ft2 and bought the 10 petite in black and it's a perfect fit. I wore mine with flats.

Pretty lightweight summer dress

I ordered the petite because I am 5 foot 4 inches and the dress is 116 cms long from centre back so a bit longer than a midi on me but it won’t need shortening. It is a pretty lightweight cotton dress and the lace goes all around the back neck. The colour is more of a light mustard yellow rather than a lemon yellow. It would be helpful if M&S could provide the length measurement for petite size and not just for the regular size.
