Pure Cotton V-Neck Midi Shirred Dress

I was so pleased with the black dress that I bought, I decided to also purchase in blue. It is cotton so great for Summer, the bodice is closely gathered with elastic which makes a great fit on the body. I bought my regular size, except not in petite as it is not offered. The length is ankle on me, which I will keep for now but may take up later. The fullness in the skirt is perfect for me, plenty of room and hangs very well. The only issue is, the v neck, is a little too low for me, but, as there is a seam at the V point down to the skirt, it was just a matter of taking the seam a little further up on the first black dress,I really cannot see the alteration at all, hence why I bought the blue dress. I was surprised to see a seam at the front rather than the back but it has worked out very well.

Nice dress but not flattering on me, there is only stretch in the top and the bottom doesn’t stretch and was too big so made me look bigger so returned it.

I purchased this dress in the red as the other colours were out of stock in my size. I am very happy with it and it will be a good inclusion to my summer wardrobe.

I purchased this dress in red, having already bought it in blue for a wedding earlier in the year- at which time I got many compliments. I love the shirred top as it fits so well, the pockets are also a great plus. The elastic in the sleeves on both dresses is slightly too tight which I shall have to adjust when I have time. My daughter commented that she thought it should be lined, which probably would have been better. The red one arrived really creased which even when ironed is still a problem. I’m really pleased with my purchase, especially as the red one was a great price in the sale!

Great shape. Lovely cotton will be perfect for summer.
