Pure Cotton Printed Midaxi Waisted Dress

Beautiful vibrant dress, bought for holiday in Greece because pure cotton, and very light gauge. Fits very flatteringly at waist and bust, and I had so many nice comments when I wore it for first time, even from my husband! I can see why some might find the sleeves too puffy, but I found that after wearing for half an hour, they relaxed down nicely - think it was a packing issue.

I actually love this dress, it's very cool to wear and looks great and I get a lot of compliments about its lovely colour. However, it is so very difficult to button up and takes so long to do so...that I cut down the back and put in an invisible zip. I think this zip should have been on the dress when I bought it. It is also very difficult to iron as it's lined ( which I do like) but you can't really lay most of the dress flat enough to iron completely. So it should be a 5 star dress but I would only give it 3-4.

The faults I have with this dress are just my personal taste, and I know they wouldn't bother most people. I don't like puff sleeves on ladies of my age so I took them in and used the spare material to make a cuff so which made the sleeves a tad longer. I then took a button off the bottom of the dress and used it to make the neckline a bit higher. (Wrinkly cleavage is not appealing!) Also I am a size 12, but once again, bought a size 8 as the 12 was huge. But finally - a fabulous dress which receives compliments every time I wear it.

Lovely bright and cheerful dress. I love it. It has a flattering defining waistline which is still loose enough to feel comfortable in hotter weather. The arms and skirt are voluminous but the waist counteracts this well. The extra details (edging, covered buttons etc) turn it from an everyday dress into something more special. Agreed it is at the higher end of White Stuff’s prices but I think this dress is worth it, and even better if you get it at a discount which I did. I got the size 10 petite and it fits true to size and length (I am 5’4”). I’ve not worn it yet but it will definitely come with me on holiday.

Lovely material and colour but sadly the dress felt clownishly voluminous for someone of my size.

Lovely colour but very long, maxi rather than midi. I shall be taking it up.
