Pure Cotton Poplin Straight Leg Trousers

Material is a bit stiff and doesn't really hang - hoping it will soften with washing. Generous fit.

Love the colour but far to wide on hip/bottom for straight trousers was going to buy second pair but not now.

Disappointing. Fabric stiff and quite noisy. Feels plasticky Crease's down full length of leg quite noticeable despite being washed at the correct temp and ironed twice.. The cotton used to machine the hems has puckered and gathered the fabric. Ok for gardening in size 14 black med length

Oh dear, what a disappointment! A previous reviewer remarked on how loud they were and honestly they crackled. I washed them thinking they would soften but and trying to iron them was a nightmare

These are very comfortable trousers in a nice shade of brown in fact it’s a very warm shade of brown. I don’t usually buy brown trousers but I am pleased I bought these. They fit nicely and are slightly more modern as opposed to skinny jeans with a slightly wider style on the legs. They look good on and for casual trousers they are fairly smart.

Considered keeping these as they are cheap and only for travel/holidays. However husband hasn’t stopped laughing – and he’s right, the fabric crinkles as you move (like paper) and looks very cheap. Reminds him of his overtrousers when out walking. Slightly big, perhaps try smaller size. Brown colour nice.

I love the feel of these baggy trousers! Think they will be perfect when the weather warms up. I have sized down as quite loose in my normal size.

Love the style and colour of these trousers, I wanted a change from linen for the summer as they crease so much. But OW, I don't know what they used to sew up the seams but after a few hours walking the inside of my thighs were red raw! I know I'm not the slimmest but I've never had this had this happen with any trousers before, from any brand. I'm hoping they soften in the wash or I'll have to donate to the charity shop. Such a shame as I really liked them😢

Short length still too long or me. I am 5ft. But decided to keep bd shorten bought the brown and the blue. Very comfortable will be great for summer wear.

I wanted a pair of everyday wear trousers with an elasticated waist. These fit the bill nicely. The material is nice and light and they make a change from chinos. I found the regular slightly long in the leg but otherwise a good true to size fit.

Liked the fabric as light and cool for the Summer and have bought lots of this type in the past. They need a drawstring as waist a bit loose for me. Short version was sold out so tried Regular but overall too wide on the legs.
