Pure Cotton Floral Midi Waisted Dress

I was a little reluctant to buy this dress after the reviews but as I loved the colour I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. It’s a beautiful dress and I had no issues with the frills as other buyers had. I ordered a size larger as they didn’t have my size but it fitted perfectly. I’d say size up as it is snug. All in all it’s a gorgeous dress.

A lovely pure cotton dress, wich is fully lined. Other people have commented that the waistline frill does stick up a little, I exchanged my dress for a larger size, which seems to have largely resolved the problem. I would have liked the dress in a long or tall size, however this is still mid calf length on me, at 5ft 9in. Please M&S repeat this dress in other colours, and offer in Short, Regular and long. I have seen that a yellow version is available, unfortunately yellow is not a good colour on me. Lots of lovely indian cotton prints are available, so hopefully this dress will be repeated in various colourways.

Good quality cotton feel with a bright pattern and comfortable to wear. Very nice for the summer, I’ve worn it several times already. Only drawback is the gathered fabric is not very flattering around the middle (unless you’re super slim).

This is a beautiful dress in a lovely colour. It falls nicely at mid length, I am 5 ft 6. I ordered my usual size 12 and it fits well. After reading the other reviews I was concerned about the waist curling up. It does a little bit at the side, but nothing a stitch hopefully won’t sort. I wouldn’t normally keep a dress that might need some slight modification but the colour is simply stunning. Looking forward to wearing it on holiday.

Beautifully made and lined cotton summer dress. Back to M&S old standards. Fits like a dream true to size. Yes, as per other reviews, the frill does rise up. It is not a design fault it just needed an extra line of stitching to hold it down. Easily rectified by hand stitching the elasticated waist inside the dress to the waist band et voila!

Love the colour and pattern of the dress, my usual size fits well, as others have said the frill does lift slightly at times but for me it wasn't too bad to not keep the dress as it looked so nice overall.

V nice dress but should’ve read the reviews referring to the frill underneath the shirred bodice As soon as I put it on this frill popped up away from the bodice as soon as you breathed or moved . Even the pics on the model if you looked closer had the same uneven frill on both the blue colour and the yellow version . A stitched on band would have been a lot better . Then I would have loved the dress

I liked this dress very much but it was so tight fitting I daren’t keep it as there was no allowance for shrinkage. However I admired it and enjoyed the style, colour and possibilities it just needed a slimmer body.

Liked colour and style. Great length for 5ft 9 Not so keen on ruffle round waist line, less flattering. Also would have loved short sleeve.

I particularly love the colour of this dress and with an added bonus, it's lined! A good fit too.
