A lovely skirt of soft cord.As previous reviewers said it is a bit small in size .A 12 is a bit big but I think a 10 would have been a bit tight.It was half price in the sale though so nothing lost.More colours would be great-bottle green navy stone perhaps

This is a beautifully made skirt, but sadly it is a small fit, I bought this for me and both my daughters on the sale as we all like cotton midis for work. Also a little bit of elastic give in the waist would help.people like me with a not-so-small waistline.For my taste I prefer a midi to be mid-calf length and not just below the knee

I would have liked this, except that it came up too small and I can't get a larger size, because it is out of stock. I like the style, although I do wonder how well it would have worn. In particular, I am concerned that it would shrink, because it is already small. I am also concerned that the buttons at the front would gape and/or come off. The main problem, therefore, is the size and I had to return it for that reason.

Quality corduroy skirt with lovely buttons, 4 pockets and a great shape made all the better for the high waist. I bought the skirt in both colours - the maroon one looked lighter and almost a coral colour online which I think I would've preferred but the deeper colour is lovely too.

So nice to find a skirt with big pockets! Unusually for M&S, it comes up rather smaller than expected, but one size up fits me perfectly. It's being sold for spring/summer weather, but I think it's too warm for that. It may not get a lot of wear now until late autumn.

The size 12 was smaller than usual but I didn't need a larger size. The fabric was so stiff that it felt as though I was wearing cardboard. So uncomfortable I sent it back. Last year's similar skirt - of which I bought two - was much softer. Pity as I liked the rose colour.

Liked the look of this online - the burgundy is a lovely colour. Never had a cord skirt but was willing to give it a go. Am normally a 14 and overall this skirt was on the small side. When I unpacked it, it was a rumpled heap and I wasn't impressed - my first reaction wasn't good to say the least!!!! The skirt has been returned.

Liked it very much. A nice skirt for work. It has lived up to my expectations. I am a bit worried in case it shrinks when I wash it as corduroy has a tendency to shrink, so I am only going to wash it on cold. I got it reduced as I had a special offer. I tend to buy things when I have special offers on them - the original price I always feel is a bit too much.
