Handy Cardigan

When I first unpacked this cardigan, I though it was a mistake and put it aside to return it. A week went by and then I thought I'd try it on before returning it and it just fits so well and looks a lot better on than I thought from just looking at it. I originally though the different textures wouldn't work and I though the cotton back looked a bit ordinary, but once it I tried it on I changed my mind and I think it will do very nicely for the purpose I originally intended, so there you go - the lesson here is ALWAYS try something on to see what it is really like.

I do wear a lot of cardigans to work, particularly in spring. This one was just a little bit different with the rear lace. Fabric felt nice and soft and it went with just about every top+trousers combination in my wardrobe. I did find it just a bit on the small side but not enough to change it.

This was too tight for me and there was too much pattern for such a small garment. I wanted it to wear over a patterned summer dress and it was clearly the wrong choice. Might be good worn over a plain top - but in a larger size.

A very pretty cardigan, which I bought to go with a dress for a wedding. Felt it was a little on the small side and quite expensive for what it was. Glad I was able to buy it with the 20% discount. Will keep it though, as will be a useful addition to the wardrobe.

Bought to go with a dress for a wedding where it had to be black as the dress is patterned pink/red and black. I was wondering whether it was possible to find a dressy little black cardigan at this time of year and M & S Per Una came up trumps. A little expensive but, I'm sure I will wear it with other outfits too.

I bought this to complement the red floral lace dress which is sleeveless. This bolero is fab for hiding upper arms and for colder days/nights and can be worn with a host of dresses for occasions. The back lace detail is lovely and it really sets off the Scarlett dress I bought. Well done M+S!

A Very Dressy Item

Got this so I could change out of a jacket at a wedding as it is still a little chilly in March. It is very nicely made and very dressy for the occasion. Equally I think it would be easy to dress it down too. It provided enough warmth to take the chill off the evening but still look smart. It is true to size and would go with almost anything. A little pricey but it didn't put me off buying it.
